Completely ridiculous - dream world 2 year rebuild

Apologies to the users of the zone, I an addicted to ridiculous mocks. In this scenario, we are a leading contender in 2 years, assuming draft picks develop as predicted. Yes, this is unrealistic.

2017

Remaining FA:
Tim Hightower, RB: getting older, but has been out of football so his legs are fresh. Had a productive season last year. 225 lb back who also possesses good ability to catch out of the backfield. Good for our #3 rb.

Draft:
Trade R1P2, a 2018 5th, Tramaine Brock (cb), and Eric Reid (s) to Houston Texans for R1P25, 2017 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round picks, 2018 1st. I warned you this was a dream world. Texans defense is built to win now. Like Bouye, they will start to lose pieces, and Watt only gets older. They want their QB. We soften the blow of them lossing so many draft picks by throwing in 2 starters from last year.

R1P25: Haason Redick, LB. Plays WILL and offers insurance for MIKE if bow cant come back healthy.

R2P34: Forest Lamp, OG. Starts in the trenches. Best scheme fit interior lineman in the draft. Lack of depth in draft and our roster forces this early move.

R2: Evan Engram, TE. Mismatch nightmare with speed at move TE.

R3: JuJu Smith-Schuster, WE. Our ZWR. Think Boldin. Good size, speed, route running, hands, and toughness. Not the athletic freak, but a complete, dominant receiver.

R3: Fabian Moreau, CB. Complete steal given all the talent at CB in the first 3 rounds. A bit shorter, but still good overall size with tremendous speed, physicality, and technique. Concerns about his ballskills, but to me, he flashes instincts and good hands.

Trade a 4th, 5th, and 2017 5th to move back into 3rd round.

R3: Joe Mathis, DE. Can rotate at both strong and rush end. Strong against the run, and flashes a good speed to power bull rushes, and very impressive bend a rip move.

R4: Kareem Hunt, RB. Perfect back for shanny. Uncanny ability catching the ball, and elite patience and cutting ability to find and hit the hole.

R4: Anthony Walker Jr., LB. Depth at SAM or MIKE with potential to develop into solid starter. Having not invested veey heavily in LB during FA, solid addition to round out the corps.

R5: Josh Reynolds, WR. Pretty one dimensional and overly thin, but gives us the 50/50 ball and red zone specialist that out offense has been missing for years.

R6: Ejuan Price, DE. Undersized, and underpowered to be a 3 down player, but we need situational pass rushers at right end, and this is a perfect fit.

R6: Stevie Tu'ikolovatu, NT. Big body, but athletic. Take on double teams and clog run lanes at 1T.

R7: Xavier Woods, S. Earlier trade makes us thin at the safety position. Great depth signing.

2018 FA of note
Kirk Cousins, QB. Shannys QB.
Terrel Pryor, WR. Elite size and speed. Crafty in his routes.

2018 draft
I predict we pick top 10. Texans have rookie QB woes, pick top 15-20.

R1: Tavarus McFadden, CB. Elite measurables. Press corner. Answered questions about ball skills with 8 int and a handful of pass breakups.

Trade down to a few spots in the 1st for an additional 2nd.

R1: Josh Sweat, DE. Here is our true starting speed rusher at LEO. Only, he's so much more. Athletic freak who was the next big thing after clowney until highschool injury. Is now healthy and very disruptive. Sack totals need to go up, but his ability to finish should improve in 2017.

Trade 2nd and 4th and 6th to move back into the back of the first. 3 picks in the first, is this real life?!

R1: Martez Ivey, OT. Has played guard thus far in this college career, but all indication is he is moving back to his natural position at LT. He is a protypical T in size, length, and ability, and possesses advanced technique for his young age.

R2: Da'Ron Payne, DT. Absolute 300+ freak. Still looks "lean" at 300 lbs. Monster strength. Will man the interior of the line.

R3: Mason Cole, C. Successful LT moving to center. Quick feet and good hands, has the ability to find and block into the second level and displays good lateral agility and vertical push.

2018 roster:
QBs: Cousins, Hoyer, Barkley. Top 10 #1 with a fringe starter, scheme fit as the backup.

RBs: Hyde, Hunt, Hightower, Juscyczk. Can pound the interior, speed around the outside, or catch out of the backfield/slot.

OL: Staley, Lamp, Cole, Garnett, Brown, Ivey, Beadles, Zuttah. Versatile group with solid starters and excellent depth. Everyone can move around the line at multiple spots.

WRs: Pryor, Smith-Schuster, Kerley, Garcon, Rodgers, Reynolds, Goodwin. Can attack the field from anywhere with any style with this variety of weapons. You've got speed, you've for size, you've got YAC, you've got possession receivers, outside, you name it. All very solid at creating separation for each other with the diverse skill sets.

TEs: Vance McDonald, Evan Engram, Ja'ron Hamm. Mismatch central.

DL: Sweat, Armstead, Payne, Buckner, Price, Mathis, Blair, Mitchell, Tu'ikolovatu. STUD group with versatility.

LBs: Reddick, Bowman, Walker, Armstrong, Smith, Brooks, Lynch. Interchangeable backers.

CBs: McFadden, Robinson, Moreau, Redmond, Johnson. Legion of boom, who?

S: Ward, Tartt, Woods. Shallow group. But if healthy, a great group. Will need some FA depth. Maybe TJ ward if he wants to play for a winner

Not sure he is even really a 1st rounder. I know that we have the '18 picks, but it is not great when we started with #2. And we come away with a guy who we might have possibly got with #34.
If a trade as proposed was made available, and garret was off the board, is be completely devastated if we didn't take it. Tbh, I'm not sure if Hasson reddick would even make it to 25

But you aren't confident that he won't, are you? Sorry but we are going to have to agree to differ. I don't think you take a trade regardless of the value. Coming away with a 2nd round pick, in effect, and of course the '18 picks which are devalued by the one year wait. Not for me.

What I meant to say was not sure he even makes it to 25, cus I can see raiders taking him at 24 edited the original post.

Just for discussion sake, who you take at 2 of Myles is gone? For me, the only can't miss prospects are Myles G, and Malik Hooker, and a big maybe for Corey Davis. Can't see taking a WR top 3 tho. But between hooker or zone favorites Solomon Thomas or fournette, is rather have Reddick (lb), Engram (move te), Moreau (cb), Mathis (de), and Sweat (de) than say Thomas (de), Reid (ss), and Brock (cb)

Editing your post after I have commented on it is cheating!!

I might have said Thomas but as you haven't mentioned a single QB gonna say Trubisky. Or Garrett. Probably Garrett.
Lots of stuff going on there

^^^ This ^^^ Only got half way through reading it an my head started to hurt.
#2 overall / 2018 5th with Reid and Brock for a late first, 2, 3, 4, and a 2018 first ?! I wouldn't trade our #2 by itself for that return
