Best cases scenario I'm my opinion though maybe slightly optimistic for me, and maybe disappointing for others.
On draft day. 49ers on the clock and the phone rings.
Trade is made. #2 pick for the #17 pick and Kirk Cousins. Washington takes whatever QB they Want My guess is Trubisky.
With the 17th pick of the 2017 NFL Draft the San Francisco 49ers select.
There is no way we trade for Cousins, if it involves us losing the number 2 pick in the draft. We will wait until next year and either get him for money only, or we will move in a different direction.

Very good chance that the draft goes nothing like this but it's still what I would like to see happen.
I was kind of rushed when I made this mock draft and did not explain my reasoning in wanting the draft to go the way I've shown above. So here's a brief explanation of my choices.
Kirk Cousins had a great season last year and he knows Shanahan's system. Oh yeah and this dude is competitive. This is truly what made me want him
Charles Harris is a high motor guy that fills a definite need on defense, Pass Rush. Last season Mizzu sucked but he never stopped playing. He also seems to be a high character guy that this team is looking for.
I really wanted Jordan Reed coming out of college and I see Evan Engram being a very similar player. The Cousins to Reed connection worked rather well and I would like to give Cousins a target like he had last season.
Now I know he's not the athlete that Rueben Foster is but Raekwon McMillan is not the screw up either. Dude seems to be a blue collar player and I would like to see how he progresses learning behind Bow.
Nathan Peterman is a choice that I could live with or without. I'm not totally in love with the guy and would be just as happy with the top CB available. NYniner85 had Sidney Jones from Washington, I would be cool with that. But the thinking behind Peterman was that he could hold the clipboard for Cousins for a few years and hone his craft a developmental guy that's not just a late round flyer.
Jordan Morgan, small school guy that stayed in school and got his degree. Played guard at the senior bowl and I'm hoping he can Show some potential at the pro level.
TJ Logan is a shifty guy that can catch. I think he is a nice compliment to Hyde and a good fit for Shanahan's system.
6'3" 220lbs 4.45 40, 41inch vertical 6.83 3 cone drill
Robert Davis had a great college career at Georgia state and broke a lot of the sun belt conference receiving records. Not a lot of tape to see on this guy but I am intrigued.
I'd love to see who's on the board at 17 before Harris became the pick...I don't see Evan Engram as the 34th overall prospect in this draft and Kyle likes his TEs to block.
Wouldn't hate this mock especially if we end up with Kirk...just would go in a different direction with the first two picks.

its a very fair trade. any qb drafted would be lucky to be as good as cousins
