MrCrab Mock Draft 2.0. Post-Combine and FAs

Here is my 2 of 4 mock drafts Post-Combine and Post- Free Agency. Once again, the 49ers have plenty of need in almost every position, these are what they need: QB, ILB/OLB, OL, WR/TE, DT, and RB. However, with Free-Agency activities, not only immediate positions need were addressed but gave me some clues of the draft forecast.

Here is my mock draft without a trade from Round 1- round 4 only

Staying at #2: Shanahan wants speed and quickness both on offense and defense. Number 2 is a tough position to be in, but, must draft a player at number 2.

RD.1:#2 – Stanford, DL- Solomon Thomas – Attitude, character, leadership and skills fits the new regime. Ohio State, Malik Hooker could be a possibility too.

Rd.2:#34 – Ohio State, WR/RB – Curtis Samuel –Coach Shanahan needs more weapon for his offense. This guy has speed and quickness and can line up anywhere. A match-up nightmare. He is an offensive weapon. In Shanahan's offense, a running back that can catch is a must. If Christian McCaffrey is still around between 25-32 picks in the first round, I bet the 49ers jump back into the first rounds to grab him.

Rd.3:#66 – South Alabama, TE- Gerald Everett – This is Shanahan's Jordan Reed – TE that is athletic and with speed Pair with McDonald. More weapons for the offense. Or Could add a pass-rusher, Alabama's Ryan Anderson or Kansas State Jordan Willis.

Rd.4:#109 – North Carolina, Safety- Josh Jones – Big, physical, and fast safety, could play Free Safety day 1.

Rd.4:#143- Wake Forest, ILB- Marquel Lee- Productive, tall and fast inside backer. LSU Beckwith and Louisville Devonte Fields are possible too.

The simple fact that Hookers name is mentioned makes it a good mock . I like the Thomas and Everett picks. Good job spreading the draft love around.

At #2, The players I like are Fournette, Watson, Thomas and Hooker. But, many not convince about Watson, although his a winner, and Fournette just don't get the feeling the 49ers new regime doesn't vibe well. Not sure why. But Thomas and Hooker look like a 49er. I really like Watson though. Hope 49ers trade back and get him at #6-#10. I'll be thrilled.

How do we need a te? We have four.. one just signed a nice ext.

The current TEs inconsistent. McDonald is up and down and gets injured too much. Need hands in TEs as well as WRs positions.
