Sorry, i thought i posted this in the subforum. I was in that forum when i started the thread...

Mods, please move if needed.

Thanks!
Love the Blair Brown pick. Not a fan of Fournette at 2, but that's what makes this mock season fun. Awesome value on Sidney. Nice mock all around.
The deepest edge rushing draft in recent memory and one of our biggest needs, yet in this scenario, we'll be heading back into the season with Aaron Lynch, Ahmad Brooks, Eli Harold and Tank Carradine.

We have huge needs everywhere. Cant get them all in one offseason.

Care to comment on the rest of the draft, or just want to call it s**t because you feel i didnt address a single need?

I know your opinion of Fournette.

Good chance neither Brown or Sidney are there that late, but like you siad, great Value if they were.

Agreed, but you have to strike while the iron is hot. This is the year to grab an edge rusher. The depth of the class is going to push talented players down the board resulting in steals. You simply can't just afford to pass and say, "We'll address it next year" when you have a glaring need in this moment and the class next year becomes significantly weaker. There's a steeper price to pay in a weaker class.

Aside from no edge rusher, it's not bad, but you need to grab an edge rusher at some point. You can't go into the season banking on a 33-year-old Ahmad Brooks, an obese Aaron Lynch, and Eli and Tank, both of whom appear to be more proficient mouth breathers than quarterback killers.

Which need is most important for success in today's NFL? I'm with Herosim on this one. Niners need a pass rush more than they need another quality RB.

yes. Baalke got never-ending s**t here for not drafting a receiver in a receiver-rich draft. Pash rush is the 2nd most important position. Lets not repeat the same mistakes.
Love your 2-7 picks.
Peterman is the perfect west coast QB highly accurate with a quick release.
If you want a RB in round one I would trade down and grab Cook or McCaffrey. They both are zone type RB that would be able to create mismatches in Coach Shannons offense.

I would not be mad at dropping back at all. I just dont like building my mock drafts of hypotheticals that may or may not happen. Personally, i dont think we drop back from #2.

I think the best chance is the browns being the browns, but i dont think anyone else will be coming up to #2.

I would actually prefer a trade down though to picking at #2 this year. Maybe still end up with a Corey Davis or something of that nature.

If we stay put @ #2, then IMO Fournette is the BPA.
Luv tha Petermen pick I'm all on his wagon...But like a few others point out we need pass rush bad plus I'm firm believer that RB's can be found all over ths draft no need to waste a 1st pick on one...

Cant get everything in one year, but totally understand the want to address the pass rush. Its definitely needed.

Thanks for the input!
Overall I like it...

But Fournette at 2 is out of the question and on the back end Jones won't last past the 3rd or 4th rd.

Love Godwin though, thats my sleeper.
