Disagree with this. If I had to start a QB right away, I'd take 1. Watson, 2. Trubisky, 3. Kizer, and 4. Mahomes of the top 4 QBs. Mahomes and Kizer have the most potential out of all the QBs in this class - I'd probably agree that Mahomes has slightly more upside (he definitely doesn't have way more upside).

Kizer is 2" taller, a little heavier with much bigger hands, and is 4 months younger. Mahomes has slightly better touch and an innate ability to throw accurately without setting his feet. He has a lot more bad habits than Kizer though. He's coming from an Air Raid offense, does not have a consistent throwing motion, and makes terrible decisions at times (so does Kizer, but not as often).

I actually agree with David and Fan49. I like Mahomes better than Kizer. While Kizer is younger, bigger, and played pretty well two seasons ago when he had a solid supporting cast, Mahomes is more accurate and makes timing throws and anticipatory throws much better than Kizer. The reason I took Kizer in my mock is because I believe Kizer has a better chance of falling out of the first round than Mahomes.

I actually agree with David and Fan49. I like Mahomes better than Kizer. I was disagreeing mostly with the idea that Mahomes has way more upside than Kizer. I think he may have more upside, but there's not a huge gap between them in my opinion. All four of the top QBs are similar prospects in my opinion with Trubisky probably having a slight edge over the others. Not enough of an edge to pick him at 2 though.
