First Mock and Opening Day Depth Chart

49ers Draft

49ers trade the 2nd overall pick and a 2018 3rd round pick to Carolina for the 8th overall pick, 2nd round pick (td1), and a 2018 1st round pick.
Considering the Browns-Eagles trade from last year for the 2nd overall pick, (obviously higher demand for that, but also trading for the 8th overall pick), this is great value for the Panthers trading up this year.

49ers trade the 8th overall pick to Cleveland for the 12th overall pick and their previously acquired Eagles' 3rd round pick (td2)

1(td2). Charles Harris, LEO, Missouri

2. Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida

2(td). Alvin Kamara, RB, Tennessee

3. Antonio Garcia, OT, Troy

3(td). Dalvin Tomlinson, DT, Alabama

3(td2). Dan Feeney, OG, Indiana

4. Kenny Golladay, WR, Northern Illinois

4(comp). Alek Torgersen, QB, Penn

5.George Kittle, TE, Iowa

5(Was). John Johnson, S, Boston College

6. Connor Harris, LB, Lindenwood

6(Broncos). Trade for a 2018 5th round pick

7(Browns). Noel Thomas, WR, UConn

7. Chad Kelly, QB, Mississippi

* A couple more than 53 but wanted to show a few spots where there is depth and could be some tough cuts.

Other than Harris, you drafted nothing but depth and this team isn't in position to do that.
We need 3-4 impact starters out of this draft and that's a very realistic approach in my opinion.

Kamara could be considered a starter in today's NFL (splitting carries with Hyde).

Quincy Wilson could very well win a starting spot and will most certainly get playing time.

Tomlinson would play a ton of snaps on run downs.

Feeney could very well win a starting spot on the OL.

Golladay and Kittle would also get a fair amount of plays.

Thats pretty much what he said, though. He didnt say they wouldnt get any play, he said they werent impact starters and even on your own depth chart you only have Harris starting.

Fair enough. I think that on my depth chart I gave veterans the starting nod in most cases to start the season, but I think this draft provides multiple "future" impact starters (future meaning potentially later in the season).

Couldn't agree more. At #34 we can get a starting corner. I don't like the Quincy Wilson pick. 12 is high for Charles Harris. I like the Kamara, Tomlinson, Kittle, and Johnson selections. The trades are ideal, fair, and possible. Probably wishful tho.

I'd like to think at 12 we can get a day 1 stud such as Dalvin Cook, any of the 3 top WR's, Hassan Reddick, or possibly Barnett, Foster or a one of the Safeties. Or one of the QB's if they love 1. At 34 someone Harris, Tak, Lawson, Watt, or a CB that could push Brock to the bench. CBS has Harris #32 and Quincy Wilson #62. So both of those are major reaches.

12- Mike Williams ZWR, Reddick Mike/Will
34- Harris Leo, Tak Sam, Lawson Sam, or higher Rated CB

Solid mock across the board but Bug is 100% on, a lack of an instant starter or franchise building block would not get the job done.

We don't trust Cooper22. He wanted us draft the worst and bust.
