2017 NCommand's Mock Draft

BTW, I would crap my pants and not care if we traded back twice and stayed between #18 - #27!

Nice job, NC. I think that's a very realistic and sensible draft. I would like to grab a RB where you left off.

Had a little fun if we, in fact, did trade back to #12 with Cleveland and acquired their #12, #33, #65 & #108. They take QB Mitchell Trubisky at #2.

1. First round: Own pick, 12 --- Derek Barnett Tennessee ER --- #2 ER on MD's Board
2. Second round: Cleveland, 33 --- Evan Engram Mississippi TE --- #2 TE on MD's Board
3. Second round: Own pick, 34 --- Ahkello Witherspoon Colorado CB --- #7 CB; perfect fit CB
4. Third round: Cleveland, 65 --- Nathan Peterman Pittsburgh QB --- #1 pro-style college QB
5. Third round: Own pick, 66 --- Dion Dawkins Temple G --- #2 G on MD's Board / ZBS experience
6. Fourth round: Cleveland, 108 --- Blair Brown Ohio LB --- #8 LB on MD's Board (favorite of his)
7. Fourth round: Own pick, 109 --- Ethan Pocic LSU C --- #1 C on MD's Board
8. Fourth round: Compensatory, 143 --- Keion Adams Western Michigan ER --- Frank Clark ER-role
9. Fifth round: Own pick, 146 --- Josh Malone Tennessee WR --- Big-bodied ZWR
10. Fifth round: From Washington, 161 --- Eddie Vanderdoes UCLA NT --- 1T
11. Sixth round: From Baltimore, 198 --- James Conner Pittsburgh RB --- Depth RB; inactive
12. Sixth round: From Denver, 202 --- CJ Beathard Iowa QB PS QB - Pro-style Practice Squad QB
13. Seventh round: From Cleveland, 219 --- Artavis Scott Clemson WR --- YWR & P/KR

Well, I only got two. LOL.

We didn't trade back as far as I thought for this one...ruined my 4-year streak of first round correct guesses (I had Trubisky/Thomas) but I'm really happy with the direction reality took!
Not bad though with picking CJ

Thanks man...I was stoked to get Witherspoon too that late. And TBF, it did sound like ShanaLynch didn't get any takers to trade back from #3 (and they tried) to the mid first round and grab even more. I wonder how close the Browns were to trading up to #2 with us...?
