66 --- 65 Nathan Peterman Pittsburgh QB (66 Dion Dawkins Temple G) (70 Dan Feeney G/C) (71 Julie'n Davenport OT) (73 Tim Williams Alabama OLB)
109 --- 100 Nico Siragusa San Diego St G (105 George Kittle Iowa TE) (113 David Sharpe Florida OT) (119 Cam Sutton Tennessee CB)

No question...we're certainly geared up for a trade back. Book it.

Given the number of teams reportedly wanting to trade down, with little apparent interest in trading up (or players perceived worth trading up for), the only deals offered will be bad ones for the Niners. Buyer's market this year.

We'll have to see..tons of reports of teams wanting to move up for Trubisky...I'm sure others like Thomas, Hooker, Fournette, etc. It could go both ways. All it takes is one team.

Fun - thanks NC - limited to only interviewed players? Wow, this is hard lol.
I actually started this mock at the bottom, used elimination, then worked my way up to 2. We interviewed so many late TEs and OGs. We're "locked in" on taking a sub package Edge rusher / backup SAM in K.Adams. We're also "locked" into taking a RB late (so I pass on Cook). I'm not super high on Dunker (actually like Levin more), so I overdraft Evans (one late round QB is enough "not-first-round-so-they-are-developmental" QBs, so Peterman gone), but then that "locks" me into taking a TE late (Leggett), so all other TEs come off the board. Not super high on Calvin, so Levin becomes the pick there, so all other OGs come off the board. That leaves Sutton at 109 (Lattimore/Witherspoon off the board).
At 3rd round, I'm staring at Davenport (not super high on) and Tim Williams - so explosive Edge it is (that's 2 Edges, so Willis off the board) - and that leaves me only one pick at 2nd round, lol, Foster. So I'm taking two head cases from Bama.
And that leaves me with Solomon, Biscuit, Jamal, and Hooker for 1st round. This is hard, because they're all fine with me, and they all "fit the mock". I personally believe that if we go Safety, we should take the guy that played Single High and killed it there - Hooker. So, Adams comes off. Biscuit - I already have a developmental QB, and Cousins is still a possibility - if Kyle pulls the trigger on Biscuit, then I'm IN, but I don't know. Solomon - Inside the tackle box wrecking ball - would love him on this team. But in the end, I'm going with my boy!
The first 4 picks instantly upgrade our Defense. The bottom of the draft is used to develop the Offense.
2 - 6 Malik Hooker Ohio State FS
34 - 37 Reuben Foster Alabama LB
66 - 73 Tim Williams Alabama OLB
109 - 119 Cam Sutton Tennessee CB
143 - 142 Keion Adams Western Michigan Sub-Edge/Backup SAM
146 - 162 Jerod Evans Virginia Tech QB
161 - 166 Jordan Leggett Clemson TE
198 --- 188 Corey Levin Chattanooga G
202 --- 205 Artavis Scott Clemson WR
219 --- 227 Aaron Jones UTEP RB

2 --- 3 Mitchell Trubisky North Carolina QB - Kyle starts his era with a FQB in-training and with no pressure to rush developing him. ShanaLynch can't guarantee Peterman or other QB's Kyle like will be there later so they take their man and high-five.
34 --- 44 Ahkello Witherspoon Colorado CB - Saleh gets his long CB to pair with Robinson which then allows us to move Ward to his more natural FS role.
66 --- 73 Tim Williams Alabama ER - Williams gives Saleh an edge rusher from both the Elephant and SAM mostly in nickel/dime sets to start.
109 --- 105 George Kittle Iowa TE - A 6'4" 250 TE that runs a 4.5 and with a 132 broad jump. Played in pro-style attack and approaches blocking like an offensive lineman; really good hands and can also work in as a move-TE.
143 --- 142 Keion Adams Western Michigan ER - Locked in but you can never have too many ER in this defense. He'll play the Frank Clark role.
146 --- 155 Jessamen Dunker Tennessee St G - Locked in here but an excellent athlete who excelled in zone blocking. He's a bit raw but a perfect developmental ZB G.
161 --- 166 Jordan Leggett Clemson TE - 6'6" TE with a massive catching radius and rises to the occasion. Saw his yards-per-touch increase to 17.1 in 2016. Kyle will love him esp. in the RZ.
198 --- 187 Johnathan Calvin Mississippi St ER - Good get-off but will play ST for now and compete with the other ER's.
202 --- 205 Artavis Scott Clemson WR/PR - Locked in. Nice scat-back, slot WR and will compete as a returner.
219 --- 227 Aaron Jones UTEP RB - Locked in. Depth for Hyde with good hands and a quality change-of-pace RB.
You did great!
Seriously...not easy...I hadn't done it myself so I gave it a go above. Hmmm, not easy.

Lol right? I mean , either one of them alone is nerve racking enough, but both? I might be losing it.
