I'd be okay with this. If I'm not mistaken, Luck's cap hit would be $18 million in 2018 because the Colts have already paid his signing bonus (his salary plus roster bonus in 2018 is $18 million).

Without the signing bonus included, Luck's contract is extremely team-friendly and is likely a lot less than we'll have to pay to get Cousins. My only concern is that it makes a ton of sense for Luck to opt out of his contract after 2 more years. If spotrac is accurate, he can opt out prior to the 2020 season and get paid on a much better team than the 49ers or Colts.

If we get Luck (and that's not very likely), I like the additions of Moncrief, Tate, and offensive line help. The only area not addressed (until the 4th round) is the secondary, but it's more important to get our QB help right away and edge rusher is an obvious need.

Nice mock!

Thanks, I agree this is unlikely to happen, which is why it was all a dream Mock lol but yes also I seen on spotrac Luck can opt out, hopefully in 2 yrs with all the additions and growth of draft picks this team is a contender which would make this a place Luck would want to stick with for longer..as for the secondary my hope is that DJ, RR and Williams play well together this year and Lynch keeps them together..

No thanks, Luck is overrated and injury prone. Give me a young talented QB that Shanny can mold for years to come. Also wish you addressed CB in the draft or FA as well.

yeah well if not Luck trade this whole thing would be way different and the CB position would either be a FA pick up or a 2nd round pick..

Moncrief is injury-prone.
