No Cousins No Cry 3 Round Mock

Cousins gets tagged again
Resign: Reid; Carradine; Coyle
Gain in FA: Weston Richburg, C; Terrelle Pryor, WR; Trumaine Johnson, CB
Lose in FA/Cut: Hyde; Kilgore; Fusco; Gilliam; Lynch; Donte Johnson; Beadles

#2 Saquon Barkely, RB
#20 Quenton Nelson, OG (Trade the 2nd round picks to move up)
#66 Jamarco Jones, OT
#70 Mike McCray, SAM

A leap of faith that CJ will continually improve and reshaping the OL. Richburg upgrades the Center, with Garnett and rookie Nelson as OGs. Jamarco Jones becomes the understudy at OT to take over in two years. Barkley probably exceeds Hyde's production and durability, and Pryor adds a new OW to the mix.

Trumaine Johnson becomes the #1 CB and Rashard/Witherspoon opposite him. McCray pushes Harold at the SAM spot, otherwise status quo with Thomas at LEO and Armstead just backing up Buckner. So it is Carradine-Buckner-Mitchell-Thomas and Harold/McCray-Foster-MSmith.
Resign tank why ??? He's done nothing but ride tha IR 95% of his career

Payor is overrated even with tha great Cousins he aint doing anything ...

I'm not a fan of drafting RB's in tha 1st round (dont care with zeke has done)

No passrush help which is very much needed

A few assumptions I'm making which drives this mock: 1) Focus is on improving the interior OL, 2) Cousins gets tagged again, 3) Barkley is seen as a can't miss prospect, 4) 49ers will only sign one break-the-bank FA (Johnson).
Richburg and Nelson are the best available interior lineman and add a healthy Garnett, plus a stud RB puts less pressure on CJ to make something out of nothing, Improving the offense keeps the defense off the field longer.
Past the 1st round there isn't a can't miss LEO, so 49ers draft for the future (replacements for Staley and Harold). With luck the Harold replacement happens sooner than later. Carradine/Reid shouldn't be too hard to resign to short-term deals. Armstead is part of the rotation but moreso to spell Buckner. Not ideal but for now they'll have to see how Thomas handles the LEO and Carradine at big end. Getting better on offense and in the secondary will help the defense. I'm also assuming that a healthy Malcolm Smith provides better LB play with Ray Ray as a backup.

WHy resign three players that are easily expendable--makes no sense.
I usually don't like the idea of taking a running back in the first. However I would love to have Barkely. He is a stud and can very well be the best running back to come out in a long while. Also a great pass catcher, dude can ball.
The only thing about Quenton Nelson is that he's being talked about as a Top Ten player, which is extremely unusual for an interior lineman. It is rare for an OG or C to go top 15 so I'm thinking he would still be there in the 18-22 Range where giving up the two 2nd round picks makes the trade possible.

He may very well be the first lineman taken, even before any left tackles. Best guard since scherff
