Red and gold best rebuild scenario !

Here's my suggested rebuild for our niners . First off we stay the course with beathard . We drafted him for a reason right ? Wasn't he the only qb Shanny wanted , remember that quote ? So now after 2 games all the sudden we're meh on the kid ? He's tough as nails , and 8 different people caught passes last week , that's Brady numbers spreading the ball around . Most importantly the team likes him , he's our qb of the future. Trade grappolo, New England makes any qb look gook , just look at cassel . We rob someone for a 1 st round pick . Seriously are you ready to pay 25 million to this guy ? With our first pick we take Barkley , we get a shifty game breaker talent , 2 nd pick we take Chubb . Instantly the niners have the right pieces to build the entire team around . Sprinkle in a few free agents and we enter the playoffs next year . What u guys think ? Yes we trade a few picks to move up to grab Chubb in back to back picks lol .

You should seduce your team into playing better next week so people like me can watch this team again.

It's going to be hard to deal Jimmy when he isn't signed for 2018, this isn't the NBA, sign and trade's don't exist.

Plus we have way bigger needs than a RB, Hyde is good enough to be the back for the next 4 years IMO. He should, and likely will be extended soon.

To have him walk is a major step back IMO even though he is fragile, he's the best offensive weapon this team has.

AB you know i love you but depending on compensation you can trade for less. Malcolm Butler was almost as good as gone last year.

What i was gonna say to the original poster is, the only way this possibly can happen is CJ literally has to be money at every opportunity possible and channel his inner young Andrew Luck/Big Ben/Russell Wilson where they just make magic happen and on the money with throws.... FOR EVERY REMAINING GAME. What i also do think. can happen as far as better odds is CJ playing well enough to field a trade partner thats desperate to try and roll the dice on something. Odds on that obviously arent great either.

Or........

Sign Garoppolo to a longterm deal, keep Beathard as the backup, and don't waste the 2nd overall pick on a RB because we got a king's ransom for that pick.
