I like the idea here. But I am sick of drafting defense in the first round. and as far as offense goes I don't see any Playmakers added. But then again it's just my opinion. And it's very rough to say that we actually do have a playmaker on offense

Very nice! There are several elite players they could take early in the first--Nelson, R Smith, Barkley...Smith makes a lot of sense, even though I'm growing partial to Nelson...which means they will probably take Barkley!

This.
Roquan Smith is the best defender in the draft hands down. Him and Reuben Foster side by side would transform our D to another level.
As for Malcolm Smith: He was brought in to be a veteran leader for our D. I'm not sure Reuben will ever call the plays for our D which is why Malcolm will be kept around. I see no possible scenario in which we would cut him.
SAM- Roquan Smith
MIKE- Reuben Foster
WILL- Malcolm Smith
Wow..

Love the mock.
Love addressing the Oline although I think we keep Garnett and he beasts out next year.
Nice work.

Oh and since I believe we will keep Garnett and he will dominate I would switch the 3rd round pick where you have Teller and draft a RB Or use it for a trade chip to move up in the 2nd.
We need to address the center position. It is pivotal to Shanahan's scheme. The first thing he did when he came to ATL was throw big money at Alex Mack to anchor their line. I expect him to do the same thing this year. Ben Garland is ATL's backup center and would be a nice target but I think we go after Baltimore's Ryan Jensen. He is mean and nasty. Tough and physical and he is rated quite high as PFF's 8th best center and I believe he will only get better.
Ryan Jensen - 8th
John Sullivan - 10th
Weston Richburg - 14th
Corey Linsley - 20th
Daniel Kilgore - 32nd
Travis Swanson - 33rd
LT- Joe Staley
LG- Josh Garnett / Erik Magnuson
C- Ryan Jensen / Ben Garland
RG- Braden Smith / Brandon Fusco
RT- Trent Brown / Brandon Parker
That's a nice looking O-line.

Nice re-load of the oline. Still would like a FA center or guard which I know overloads the position but they seem content washing through players to find the one they like

Roquan Smith is exciting to watch, but he seems like a luxury, imo. If teams go 4-wide, they can force Smith or Foster off of the field, like what happened with Willis/Bowman. Davenport doesn't seem like anything special to me. He looks fluid one minute, then he lopes around the field like a newborn colt the next. I like Teller and Braden Smith a lot, but I'd be surprised of they take both. Lynch sounds pretty invested in the holistic re-imagining of Garnett.
You always spot good talent, which I appreciate. Not sure I spot the same value you did. I don't think Davenport helps us out w/the speed rush anytime soon, and I think Malcolm Smith will be fine at Will (need Foster to pack on some muscle for Mike). I like the guards (a LOT), but I'd like to see a dynamic weapon in the passing game. I think the 49ers need to draft CB, even if they strengthen the position in FA. That cupboard is pretty bare, especially if Johnson leaves in FA.

Only thing I'd change is if the niners don't sign a WR then I think they take one 2nd or 3rd round..

I can get down with this
I think we can ultimately trade down a couple spots and still land Smith ( Denver/jets gonna want a qb).
Smith and Foster would be a thing to watch ...I love the focus on OL which we are all hoping for. I'm gonna disagree on moving on from Garnett but I'm still fine with going for Smith in the 2nd.
Marcus Davenport might be higher than the 3rd when it's all done, dude pops out on film and his length is insane.
I'm hoping for an upgrade at the skilled position somewhere (maybe in FA with Arob or D Adams) that's my only real issue...I'd think about going in a different direction with the 2nd 3rd.
You moving on from Hyde in this mock or no?

Haven't seen any material on Marcus Davenport by you or anyone really. Do you have a grade on him? @nfldraftscout pic.twitter.com/eA38eMboka
