With guys declaring and more to come over the next week, it's interesting to see what people think re: Top 10 mock drafts and what might be left for the Niners at 9 or 10. I hope a guy like Quenton Nelson or Roquan Smith could be available for the Niners...Nelson might be wishful thinking but maybe Smith will be there (assuming he declares). With the combine, free agency, and trades, a lot can change over the next couple of months...curious what people are thinking at this time.

I think that's rather high for Nelson. I expect the Colts to trade back with a QB hungry or if Barkley is there a team wanting him and either go after Nelson or Brown or Williams.

A lot of people will think that's pretty high for a G. I just think that Nelson is such a rare talent at G, so dominant at his position that being drafted so high would be justified. He's the best OL prospect out there IMO, yet I have to admit I've watched him a lot more closely than some of the others.

I agree. I think the Colts either take Barkley or make a trade down with Denver or the Jets. I seriously doubt Nelson goes that high.

No arguement here about Nelson's talent. He's phenomenal. It's just a lot of money for a guard. Around 7.5 million a year is expensive for a guard in general.

Nelson may be the next coming of Larry Allen, but #3 overall is very rich for a G.

The Raiders need secondary help. No way they take Ridley lol

Especially for a team like the Colts who have so many needs. They can get a great G prospect with their 2nd rounder.

Remember, it's the Raiders we're talking about :-). But Ridley is a nice talent at WR and they could use him if they release Crabtree (rumored) and with Cooper disappearing in games at times.

Think you have this nailed unless there is movement in FA before the draft that changes needs.

Agree with the other guys. Nelson at #3 is a bit too high but I think he's selected a few picks before us. I like Ro Smith but if given the choice, I'd prefer Ridley. Calvin is an ankle breaker. Imagine him with Jimmy G? Yes please!!!!!

Ugh! The Niners won't pick a LB in the first round, IMO. Higher priorities are pass rusher, OL and cornerback, then OL, RB and WR.
