yeah! Run to the podium if Nelson is still there. We talk about this every year. The Cowboys dominate oline. Jimmy G will be the new face of the franchise... the new talk of the NFL! protect him and run the ball more effectively.

I agree that G is a need, but Smith could change the dynamics of the defense and we have a ton of cap room to get a couple OL.
I was just joking, appreciate your guys' work in putting this together

Agree, it was tough with them both being there We'all be doing more as TE offseason unfolds: Senior Bowl, FA, Combine, etc

I have absolutely no issues with Nelson. Do we really want to rely on Joshua Garnett and Brandon Fusco? Really?
JG's stats improved across the board except one area...sacks allowed, QB hits and pressures.
Plus, how cool would it be to have a running game where our RB didn't have to dodge 3 defenders in the backfield every time?
Build the trenches.

Pretty good draft. I do think the browns would be stupid to not take their QB first. They've passed up QBs too many times before to get cute.
I also don't think the lions take a TE. I think they focus on producing a viable running game. That starts with o line or RB.
Other than that, pretty spot on. I really want us to get Nelson or Smith. If those two are gone give me Josh Jackson.

Smith is great but Nelson looks like the best player in the draft to me. However, depending on what we do in the offseason I'd be disappointed if we didn't draft a pass rusher or corner here.

I didn't feel like Saquon would make it to 4, not big on Rosen or Darnold, decided to let Smokes make the QB pick

Case in point.
SACKS ALLOWED
Before Garoppolo: 35 (26th)
After Garoppolo: 8 (27th)
Total: 43 (21st)
So, it seems pretty obvious what our area of weakness is...the OL...still giving up sacks, hits and pressures at an alarming rate no matter who's at QB.
