Offseason 3.0

FREE AGENCY

LG- Justin Pugh, NY Giants
5 years, 45 million, 27 guaranteed
6'5, 311. 27 years old
Versatile and can play any position on the Oline aside from center. Good feet and mobile. Absolutely perfect guard for our zone scheme.
-In both of his two seasons on the interior, Pugh has ranked in the top 10 in fewest total pressures allowed among guards with at least 350 pass-block snaps.
-Pugh has also produced in the run game, ranking as the seventh-best run-blocking guard in 2015 with a grade of 85.8.
-Pugh earned a higher PFF grade than both Ronald Leary (80.4) and Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (78.4) in 2016, who received lucrative contracts of $9 million and $8.25 million per year, respectively, this offseason.

CB- Kyle Fuller, Chicago
5 years, 42.5 million. 22 guaranteed
6'0, 190. 26 years old
PFF grade 84.3. 22nd CB.
Ideal off man/zone corner. Not afraid to step up in run support. Had a real good year with 69 tackles, 2 INT, 22 passes defensed . He would be a massive upgrade over Dontae Johnson

C- Weston Richburg, NY Giants
5 years, 30 million, 18 guaranteed
6'3, 300. 26 years old
Was the best pass blocking center in the league 2 seasons ago. Absolutely perfect zone blocking center. Smart and athletic. He would be a huge upgrade at center over Kilgore

RB- Dion Lewis, New England
3 years, 15 million, 8 guaranteed
5'8, 195. 27 years old
PFF ranking 89.4. #3 CB
Lewis now has averaged 119.9 yards from scrimmage per game over the final 10 games of the season. Under-rated runner. Great receiver and solid pass protector.

DE- Trent Murphy, Washington
2 years, 10 million, 5 guaranteed
6'6, 260. 27 years old
Coming off an ACL but was a very productive pass rusher with 9 sacks in '16. Could provide a big boost to our pass rush.

C/G- Ben Garland, Atlanta
3 years, 6.0 million
6'5, 300. 29 years old
Versatile interior blocker. Familiar with this scheme

T- Allen Barbre, Denver
2 years, 4.0 million
6'4, 310. 33 years old
Quality experienced veteran swing tackle. Replaces Garry Gilliam

MLB- Christian Jones, Chicago
1 year, 2.5 million
6'3, 245, 27 years old
Quality backup. Can play all 3 LB positions.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

RE-SIGN
Extend- Jimmy Garappolo 5 years, 125 million. 75 guaranteed
Extend - Marquise Goodwin 4 years, 28 million. 14 guaranteed
Extend - Robbie Gould 4 years, 16 million. 10 guaranteed
FA- Cassius Marsh 2 years, 4 million
FA- Brock Coyle 2 years, 4 million

Extension Candidates:
- Trent Brown (system fit?)
- Jaquiski Tartt

CUT:
CB- Jimmy Ward. There is no chance we go into next year with Ward as our 2nd highest paidi player. We may convert his 8.5 mil salary to a signing bonus over a long term deal but so far he hasn't proved that he deserves one. Adrian Colbert has taken his job so I expect Ward to be cut. Save $8,526,000 million

G- Zane Beadles Save $3,000,000 million
LB- Eli Harold

Free agent Losses:
S- Eric Reid
RB- Carlos Hyde
C- Daniel Kilgore
G- Brandon Fusco
CB- Dontae Johnson
DE- Tank Carradine
DE- Aaron Lynch

2018 cap space- $115,411,000

Fantastic Free agency pickups. Pugh is an interesting idea! Garland could be free agency gold.
Instead of Isaiah crowell we have matt breida, Joe Williams ,two similar guys need a bigger back.
Opps instead of Deon lewis crowell

Crowell is only good because of his line. Do you not play fantasy football?

I thought about that. But the year he played with Shanahan in Cleveland he averaged 4.1 yards per carry. I like him and he is 3 years younger than Hyde but I don't see much of a difference or a fit.

I believe our short yardage / goal line back will be Juice.

Dion Lewis will be 1A and Matt Breida will be 1B and Justin Jackson will compete with Joe Williams for the 3rd spot and both of those guys could surprise as well.
GREAT Stuff! Probably as good of a Mock Off-season as I have seen
Would fap to dat

I love it. But what if we kept hyde and and got Lewis. That would be the best 1 2 punch in the nfl. And Hyde would come cheap, he wants to be here

I like Hyde but he isn't a fit. No sense in giving him 5 mil a year.

If we want to go that route and give 5 mil to a questionable fit then just sign Isaiah Crowell who is 4 years younger.

Lewis is doing just fine as the lead back in NE.

119 yards per game the last 19 weeks isn't good enough??
I just finished working on a no-trades mock too.

I made a few changes. I re-signed Kilgore and drafted James Daniels in round 2. All the free agent signing stay the same except I'm not signing Weston Richburg.

I drafted Derwin James to pair with Adrian Colbert and Jaquiski Tartt (free agent after the year) I loved what Donte Whitner and Dashon Goldson brought to this team. A physically and enforcers mentality. That set the tone for our D. I think James can be a Sean Taylor type safety and have the same impact, if not a bigger impact, that Jalen Ramsey has in JAK.

I also drafted Micah Kiser in round 3 to compete with Eli Harold at SAM and backup Foster at MIKE incase he gets into any more trouble.

Round 1.10: Derwin James, S, FSU
6'3, 215
Round 2.28: James Daniels, C, Iowa
6'4, 300
Round 3.6: Micah Kiser, MLB, Virginia
6'2, 240
Round 3.10: Kameron Kelly, CB, San Diego St
6'2, 200
Round 4.29: Justin Jackson, RB, Northwestern
5'11, 195
Round 5.6: Cedrik Wilson, WR, Boise St.
6'3, 188

6'5, 260

6'2, 305
Round 7.22: Jake Campos, OT, Iowa State

I actually really like this one. That D is sick. The secondary would rival JAK and MIN for best in the league. If Trent Murphy returns to form and Solomon improves as a pass rusher this D could be really special.

Point is, he is twice the back in any system than brieda
