IMO he's underrated in here if anything. Dude is a athletic freak that's a IDEAL LEO prospect in this scheme.

I don't care who he got the sacks against a pass rush is a pass rush. IF we're gonna go down that road we might as well look at if players sacks were because of their own rush, a blown block, or it was a coverage sack

According to PFF he had 321 pass snaps this yr....he had 12 sacks out of those 321 snaps, so he got a sack every 26.75 attempts. That's pretty damn good! Let's look at the sack leader this yr Chandler Jones, he had 17 sacks on 610 pass snaps which is a a sack every 35.88 attempts. DeMarcus Lawrence had 14.5 sacks on 454 pass snaps so that's a sack every 31.3 attempts.

Throw him in this system with the other guys we have on that DL, give him the same pass snap counts as Lawrence, and you're looking at a 10-15 sacks (as long as he's healthy) on a steady base.

Nice mic drop Ny

Will Hernandez is pretty athletic for his size. Yes, he doesn't have great lateral movement but moving North and South he's excellent. He weighs 330lbs and can easily lose 15-20lbs to be quicker laterally.

Here's a pretty good scouting video on him:

Dude is not like your typical fat ass 330lb offensive lineman.

pretty sure your explanation of him is exactly what Josh Garnett is he's simply not a fit for ZB. We already have a experiment with Josh to see if he can get down to 300 lbs to get quicker. Throw in Big Brown and Hernandez on top of it....that's not what Kyle wants his OL to look like.

He's a big monster and a mauler no doubt, some team who wants to use power/man blocking will love him.

Dude thats 🌙's boy! You better be careful .

I got a wish to ask for.. Can i see you and Moon do a mock draft and explain briefly why each pick was made. Or how about first take style daily 49ers top 2/3 subjects?

God that would be pure gold lol.

Ansah is overrated on this board. Ppl need to realize half of his sacks cane in the last two games of the season. And 3 sacks cane against the Giants earlier in the season.

Half of his sacks came when he was fully healthy.

He had 14.5 sacks in his 2nd year. Then he was banged up and didn't play well in '16 when he had a high ankle sprain. This year he had a knee injury at the beginning of the season and got healthy at the midway point.

When healthy he is one of the best pass rushers in the league and can individually take over games.

This exactly. Ansah is a stud when healthy. That is why his sack total conveniently jumped at the end of the regular season. We should pair him with Trent Murphy or a draft pick. Then we would have a pass rush.

Big no to Murphy. If we get Ziggy I'd rather get a speedy pass rusher to go along with him. Someone that can take over for Elvis and play SAM.
I love the Harrison and McFadden pick, nice work.

However I do have to issue my one gripe, but it's not about your picks

I don't think there is a single aspect of Lamar Jackson's game that I would consider better than Michael Vick's as a prospect. That's high praise for Jackson

Thanks for your comments.

We'd have to agree to disagree on Lamar Jackson. Michael Vick was one of favorites players in college and NFL. But, Lamar Jackson is better as a passer and a runner than Vick ever was in college.

Lamar put up video game numbers in college. He had 119 TDs to 27 ints in 3 years. 4000+ rushing yards with 6.3 avg. Completed 59% of his passes in his last year.
Vick had 38 TDs and 11 ints in 2 years. 1300 rushing yards with 5.5 avg and completed only 54% of his passes in his last year.

As college prospects - Lamar Jackson is not Michael Vick 2.0. He's more like Vick 3.0.
So Niners met with Will Hernandez for an interview at the combine. Doubt you meet a prospect if you think that prospect doesn't even fit for your scheme.
