6 Round Mock Draft with trades

49ers trade down from #9 with Buffalo and pick-up the Bills 21st overall pick, 2nd round (56th overall) and a Second Round pick next year.

21st Overall Pick: Isaiah Wynn, C/G, Georgia: A big time talent and player. I think he will be a Will Shields type guard in the NFL and he can also play tackle and center in a pinch. I'm a huge fan of this kid. Quentin Nelson is obviously a stud who is a once in a 10year type of offensive guard but I think Wynn won't be that far behind Nelson in the NFL as I feel he will be all-pro for several years.

We then trade one of our third round picks and our second round pick next year to move up to the early 30's to grab a RB.....

Ronald Jones, USC or Sony Michel, Georgia. We take a page out of the Saints book from last year and we get our Alvin Kamara this year!

Second Round- 56th Overall Pick: Dorance Armstrong, Edge, Kansas: I like this kid a lot. I know some people think he is another Eli Harold but I disagree, He has a
bigger frame than Harold with longer arms and seems more powerful and a natural pass rusher than Harold ever was coming out (or is now). I think Armstrong has a huge upside and helps right away as a situational pass rusher while we develop him into our fulltime LEO. If Harold Landry falls into the second round we could also take a look at trading up for him.

Second Round- 59th Overall Pick: J.C Jackson, CB, Maryland: My 2nd favorite CB in the draft behind Joshua Jackson. I think J.C may be the most talented cornerback in the draft. I have followed him and known him since he was a freshman in High School at Immokalee H.S. One of my best friends is his cousin and mentor. Two other cornerbacks who will be worth a look around this area are Isiah Oliver from Colorado and Carlton Davis from Auburn. I really like Davis a lot.

Third Round- 70th Overall pick: James Daniels, C, Iowa; I am never a big fan of taking a center this early in the draft but this kid Daniels is a stud. I think he will be a 10+ year all-pro NFL center. He fits into any scheme and can also play guard if needed. Plus we need a guy to replace Kilgore sooner rather than later. Daniels would take his job in a year if not sooner.

Fourth Round Pick: D.J Moore, WR, Maryland

Fifth Round Pick: Josey Jewell, LB, Iowa

Sixth Round Pick: Michah Kiser, LB, Virginia
I'm a big advocate of trading down this year, provided no one crazy falls to 9/10. I approve. Also, I don't think Daniels makes it out of the 2nd round.
I don't think a team in the 30's would trade down to the 3rd round for a 2019 2nd rounder. Might have to kick in pick 56 or 59 instead.
Otherwise nice job!

You're probably right and thank you

Nice
Not a fan of Jewell, otherwise, I wouldn't be mad.

Me either. I've stayed in other mocks that the best late round LB would be Tegray Scales out of Indiana. I'm a bit of a homer because that's my alma mater but the kid can flat out play.

I was torn between Jewell and Scales actually. I like Scales more as well but I figure the 9ers will want to draft at least one Iowa player lol.
Stubby, i like your wheeling and dealing, if BUF will do it. I agree on most but 2nd pick (30-32) in rd 1 even tho i like Michel (a lot), no. I think it willl be a top CB, LB or Edge...whichever we needed most after FA .

Only other one is 4th rd WR. Same story. In your mock i would bet on LB .

I think Kyle stays true to the Shanahan tradition and gets his RB in 5th or 6th and WR ...maybe Same rd 5 or 6 or UDFA. That is assuming we snagged a pair of OGs/C (2) in FA. Also same holds for the caliber of CB we get in FA.

Thank you for the feedback and your 411 my man.
If we walked away from the draft with BOTH Wynn and Daniels---I'd immediately be on board with it. With that said, i'm not a huge fan of the rest of the picks. I like D.J Moore and could work with that but prefer we grab a bigger guy for the outside (Hamilton, Wieneke, Scott, or J'mon Moore)
Looks like Lynch is putting it out there that we are def interested in moving down. I really hope he is successful and nets us ether another 2nd rd pick and/or a future 1st rd pick. Ideally we trade down with buffalo and get one of their first AND one of their second round picks plus a future (2nd rd?) pick
