Originally posted by English:Hey NC I like the mock. I like Landry and the early emphasis on the O line. One thing I would say, and Baalke took no notice, is that where there is a draft with great depth at a position, particularly one needing regular turnover, you don't pass on it. So, running back in maybe 4th?

I fought the same temptation. But for me it came down to... for what we'd need from a RB4 Shanny can find off the streets.
McKinnon, Joe and Breida. We really dnt need ti burn a pick on a RB imo

I also feel that if they get the guy they are eyeing then they might trade Brown at some point in the season. Brown might be a so called one of the best in the league, but im not sure if the staff feels hes a fit for the system. I could see him being traded to Denver.

After GoldenJoe did a nice synopsis via The Athletic on Shanahan draft patterns, here is a draft in Kyle's favor:
NCommand/ShanaLynch 2018 Mock Draft:
1st round | 9th overall - ER Harold Landry
2nd round | 59th overall - MIKE Uchenna Nwosu
3rd round | 70th overall - G Austin Corbett
3rd round | 74th overall - RB Rashaad Penny
4th round | 128th overall - WR Marcell Ateman
5th round | 143rd overall - G/C Mason Cole
I'd be stoked with this one.

I prefer this one much more if only that I like Corbett at G so much more than I like O'Neill, particularly in the 2nd. And if you can get Cole in the 5th
#49ers meet extensively with USC linebacker Uchenna Nwosu, per @TonyPauline of @DraftAnalyst1 https://t.co/ymBjCmRcRf
