2018 NCommand's Mock Draft

Wow, thanks for that. Did you like the OP or the ShanaLynch draft better?

how about if we sign a halfway decent vet inside linebacker and then really do research and try to find a gem in the fifth or 6th round . dang, foster really put us in a fix

We had a chance to pick up a veteran LB and didn't (except Brock Coyle). That tells me the FO feels good with that position with M.Smith coming back, Coyle and Elijah Lee. It may also be an indication they don't believe Foster will be lost long or that, he may even be innocent other than reapidily putting himself in bad situations. If they were worried, they wouldn't have moved Eli Harold to LEO.
I'm starting to think Denzel Ward might be the pick

Great player but not the best scheme fit. Check out Eric Crocker on Twitter.

Edit. I stand corrected!

That's the plan I'm hoping for. We need Landry. I see him as equal to Beasley - Atlanta's pass rusher. He will probably have a solid first year and be great in his second year.

Nice... who would you guys move up for?

Probably a guard shanny loves or a wr/cb that drops.

NC,
If Landry and Davenport are still available at #9, would you trade down for a second round pick and take Davenport if Landry is gone by then? The extra pick would help with the LB issue. Are you thinking that O'Neill competes at guard this year?
I'm not a Davenport fan, I don't like a lot of upside but raw.
Serious question.....if Barkley falls to 9 is he the pick. I know ER, CB, interior Oline is the biggest of our needs but man just so many ways we could go and if we nail this draft right I seriously think we would be a playoff team. Lynch/Shanny have been masterful so far.

Agreed. Nelson would be the only one I'd consider.
Alright, full mock updated in the original post. Have at it.
Don't spend much time in this subforum, but I was pleasantly surprised to see this mock. Nice job, NC. I really like the picks.

I see my guy Fred Warner in there. I think Warner might go at the end of the third, but it works because he and Freeman can probably be swapped.

Right on! That's big praise from a draft expert. Thanks dude (and to MadDog as always).

Really nice work here man! Addresses a lot of our needs and it seems the value is right there. Would be stoked if it played out this way!

If Barkley fell to 9 we could most likely get a nice haul trading back for a team (I would guess there would be a few) who love him but never thought he would make it out of the top 5-6.

That would be epic!
