Post free agency Mock

My thoughts exactly. I dont hate this Mock though, it is actually quite good. Especially if we can get Carlton Davis & Jewell.

Guice would be a great RB to scoop up as well. It would mean the end for Joe Williams and McNichols tho.. which whatever.

Yeah. I stuck to my guns over guys like Kaepernick and Antony Davis. I Got slammed pretty hard over my opinions about them but at the end we saw how that worked out :)

There is just something about Trent Brown. He is a great pass protector no doubt but I just can't see Shanahan giving him a long term deal if he can't do what is needed to make this scheme work. Then throw in the fact that we gave 8 million to his backup over 2 years and it really makes you think. Either they are trying to motivate Brown to come into camp In shape or he will be gone. I don't see any other way to spin it.

So, we might as well trade him while he has some value IMO.

As for Kolten Miller, there aren't too many guys that can do what he does at 6'9 and 310 pounds and if he cleans up his technique he could be special.
TB has some great potential, great physical tools, but I seriously doubt that KS will let his offense be slowed down or interrupted by one o-lineman not executing with the same vigor and intensity as the rest of the o-line. TB will be given an opportunity to show he can overcome his weaknesses and keep up--but if he can't he'll lose his job and then may be traded. But don't expect that to happen anytime soon, nor do I believe he would garner more than a 5th round draft pick--if rhat--at present.

Agreed. If he comes into camp out of shape he is gone.

I've said for months now that Shanny won't change his scheme for one guy. They had to plug in some guys last year based on necessity but this year with a full off-season I don't expect them to do the same.

He is bringing in guys who are fits. Cooper and Richburg are ideal. Garnett and Brown are not.

agreed--but I think Garnett may surprise us. The Garnett that Baalke drafted, a 325 lb mauler, has spent a year reshaping his physique--losing weight, but gaining strength, flexibility, and agility. and he's had a year to study shanny's playbook. plus he's a very intelligent guy. I'm betting that he has a breakout year this year, becoming the prototypical guard for shanny's ZBS offense.

I hope so. He has definately worked his butt off that's for sure. The dude wants it and Shanahan and Lynch will love the work he has put in.

I like him and if he secures a job on the right side our line could really take off.

LT- Staley
LG- Cooper
C- Richburg
RG- Garnett
RT- Brown??
