I love the Meeks pick. I think he's my draft crush day 2-3. He's everything the 49ers need in a CB, plus hes from Sherman's Alma Mater

Updated SPARQ scores. Both Obo and Meeks were higher than my guess.

The Landry I saw in 2017 wasn't a 1st rd pick...I get he had two very good seasons in 2015-16. I also get Edge is a position of great need...that said, though, I still think Edmunds is a better pick because of his physical tools & versatility. With Foster's Niner future highly in doubt, Lynch will have to go to his plan B and bring in some top LB talent, for which I'd include Josie Jewell, a real tackling ILB. With Malcolm Smith returning from injury and Lloyd likely entering his final year w/Niners, the entire LB corps needs to be upgraded. Lynch can upgrade both Edge and the LB corps in this draft...I think he has to.

I disagree with you about Landry. I see a guy, who, if not for a "down" 2017, would not fall to our pick at 9 (and still might not).
I agree with you that the LB core needs upgrading. This is why I drafted a LEO (Landry), a SAM(Obo), a day 1 starter-if-needed iLB (Warner), and a developmental iLB with phenomenal atheleticism (Burks).
I think I upgraded both the edge and lb core, like you want.
Edit: I think Josey is a stud, but doesn't fit the profile of who we're going after. Warner does, which is why he gets the nod.
