Trade Rd 1 #9 & Rd 4 #128 to Bills for Rd 1 #22, Rd 2 #53, Rd 3 #65.

Rd 1: Isaiah Oliver cb Colorado.

Think raider nnamdi and talib. Future #1, unlike Witherspoon. Sherman is ?. We are dead in this division without a cb who can frustrate opposing #1 wr.

Rd 2: Brian O'Neill OT Pitt

Former TE, athlete, and underweight OT.
Same as Staley was 10 or so years ago. Good feet and hips. Can block in space against athletes. Sit behind Joe for a year, then good to go for 10 years.

Rd 2: Rasheem Green DE/DT USC

Versatile rusher who can get upfield inside or outside. Like S Thomas, but more talented and will be better than Thomas in a couple years. Year one, he will bring heat on third down.

Rd 3: Austin Corbett G Nevada

Highly athletic OL with good feet and heavy hands. Not a fat, sloppy body. Also versatile; can play G, OT, or C.
Has shades of Alex Mack in him. Our kind of Guard.

Rd 3: Jessie Bates S Wake Forest

Plays free safety better than round 3 but is a bit thin, so may fall. Quick to diagnose and correct most often. Has some Dale Carter in him

Rd 3: Michael Gallup WR Colo St

Can separate at will--enough said.

Rd 4: Anthony Miller WR Memphis

Smallish but skilled and highly competitive. Ready to get on the field and make plays if placed in good matchups.

Rd 5: Dane Cruikshank CB Arizona

Super athletic and competitive. Special teams and developmental ace with very good chance be a player.

Rd 6: Mike White QB W Kentucky

Starter-level arm talent in our offense who can develop into a winning nfl QB.
We all like Beathard but he lacks size and arm talent to be a playoff game winning QB. Gotta have a backup who can come in and win the super bowl if needed.
White has that potential.

Rd 7: Tyler Conklin TE Cent Mich

Tweener TE who can win if given matchups by Kyle.

Rd 7: Frank Ginda ILB San Jose St

Square-bodied Lb who knows how to tackle, and can be a backup and special teams guy. Hair-on-fire kind of guy.
1) We can't take a corner with our first pick because we have Witherspoon and Sherman. A first round pick is a starter. It would be a waste.

2) You drafted 2 CBs and a Safety when we already have a crowded secondary and you neglected edge and LB.

3) You drafted a QB. That's a waste. We used a 4th and a 2nd on QBs in the last year.

Witherspoon is a beta male on the field.
I don't want him starting. Sure, he has athletic talent for the position, but he has no junkyard dog in him. No dog . . . WR steals your lunch money.

We still stuck in last August?

Witherspoon was playing with swag by end of the year. The idea that he's a beta make out there is idiotic.

And I'm sorry but this draft would put me on depression meds and I'm an Oliver fan. Your 2nd round picks are awful. I always respect people for putting in the time and the work but I'm very puzzled at those picks.

Sorry not a fan of this draft especially since it has no running backs and we definitely need a short-yardage running back
No gracias. 😂😂

The O'neil pick aint bad. Actually pretty good as a replacement for Brown next year.

But tbe green pick?

Truthfully if that green pick was a true edge rusher like OO, i think then this draft wouldnt be THAT bad. But that one pick coupled with doubling up at WR and CB in the mid rounds is what makes it look

I for one dont know if id use a 3rd on Bates with alot of good talent left on tbe board. I dont hate Bates but i dont Love him either

I'm sorry that's a ridiculous comment smh

you talk about wanting a junkyard dog an alpha and go with Brian O'Neill? dude got manhandled senior bowl week lol. there's nothing "alpha" about his game.

sorry dude no bueno

O'Neil shouldn't be touched til day 3. He was getting owned at the senior bowl..what do you think happens in the NFL? He'll need time to build strength and get coached up. No way am I using a 2nd on him.

I actually don't mind Green but the idea that he's better than Sully or a need in the 2nd is mind blowing to me.

Two things............Witherspoon is not a "beta male". The reason why he was starting last year is that he improved his physical play against the run which he was apparently allergic to during his college days. You're not wrong about potentially taking a CB in the first round, because the Niners could use one more to complete their makeover on the outside.

There's about 5 or 6 good rbs, but after the first 3 rounds I don't see much difference between guys who may get drafted in Rd 4-7 and undrafted guys.
We can find a serviceable rb after the draft. There's just not much short-yardage talent after a few of the top guys.
I think the 49ers are getting ripped off in your trade. Lynch should be able to get a much better deal for the #9 pick. I know the trade chart says it is relatively equal, but I want a team to overpay in order to move in to the top 10.
