Jersey49ers final mock

Trades

Number 9 overall pick traded to GB for their 14th, their 3rd and 4th, they jump up for some secondary help with Fitzpatrick there..

Niners 2nd and their 4th to move up in the 2nd

2018 NFL DRAFT

1st round- DE Harold Landry, this would be perfect situation to be able to move back and grab extra picks and still land Landry, D-Line is set for the future now..

Round 2- LB Malik Jefferson, him next to Foster for the future would be amazing, he should start day 1 over Coyle

Round 3- Interior Lineman Frank Ragnow, versatile player who is smart and will compete at G, won't be surprised if he wins a starting spot and sticks for years

Round 3- CB Quentin Meeks, perfect player to learn from Sherman

Round 4- WR Auden Tate, the height and Redzone threat everyone wants for Jimmy G

Round 5- OLB Devin Bellamy, challenges Harold and Attaochu for Sam position

Round 6- CB Adonis Alexander, very nice player who falls due to concerns, would be the only off the field risk taken this draft, could turn out great..

Round 7- DE Ade Aruna, project pick worth the risk in the 6th, he's a huge sleeper of mine

Round 7- RB Ryan Nall, this kid is a Lynch type player, short yardage back who can do more, ST player too

Love it other than the Jefferson pick. And hate the idea of trading up for him.

Thanks, I really like Jefferson, I think he will only get better with work he puts in..
If you covet Landry, you should just draft him at 9. He could easily be taken in the 8-14 range. If you don't mind losing out on him, then sure, why not trade back. Who's your second and third option?

Last chance saloon and no more saloons for next few yrs for us. Might as well fill up here, and not take the very real risk of some hombre coming in and takng all the kegs of beer with him. Or specifically, if we lose out on what JL/KS deem to be the best EDGE on the board , then...we are SOL,,regarding EDGE guy who is special. True we can pick up EDGEs all along the way(draft), but Chubb is the consensus best EDGE and will be long gone, so after that it is Landry or, if you happen to like say Davenport (or pick your choice here), then fine. But if KS/JL think Landry is the one, this last chance saloon is our one and only chance to pick the one guy GM/HC like best. And i readily agree with 'Maniac" above that why take the very real risk of losing our last chance for a high caliber EDGE, by allowing 5 other teams to pick ahead of us. I like your idea of moving up but only after we have secured an EDGE, assuming that player is the one guy JL covets. AFter that, Katy bar the door, and trade up or down all the way . But IF, IF , Landry really is the guy ( and i don't know this to be true), then i think JL goes full steam ahead and snags him unless somebody comes up with a ridiculous Two 1s, two twos, and a pair of 3s, and they are really high picks. So barring a "dumb" move by someone, we should take that EDGE if the GM feels he is the one.

That said, I think that the closer we come to pick #9, say during the draft, i expect to see some incredibly sweet but ridiculous deals floated beginning around pick # 2 or 3...and continuing on thru the top 12-15 picks...mayb even higher. Going to be one of the most fascinating drafts in a long time. They all are exciting, but it just seems moreso this yr.

If he is taken then I wouldn't mind Davenport or Landry at 14..I think one of the 2 will be an option, maybe even both but I obviously like Landry better
