NYniner85 mock 2018 (based on who we've met)

God i hope this is not the way we go....

Fitzpatrick will not be BPA at 9. Not even close. He isnt even the best Safety. You drafting him at 9 to be a slot corner?

Two character concerns?

Meeks in the third?

Not a huge fan of this one, sorry NY.

And im interested in hearing your justification on Minkah, when you have been so anti S at #9 in the James thread?

again, is a slot CB worth #9?

Minkah is probably the guy im least excited about at #9 in the entire draft. I would Take Oliver or Ward over him in a heartbeat, and if S is what your after, i would Take James over Minkah(assuming James is still there) . He is not even close to BPA.

Dude read the top of the mock...it's solely based who we've met with. I don't want to draft Fitz at 9 BUT from the sound of it they are very interested. We have not spoken or done anything with James, hence him not being in this mock. I don't want to draft Key in the 2nd either BUT they've been doing some serious homework on him for a reason.

Just being realistic, we can make mocks all day on guys we want and who we think is a fit ( plus make pretend trades to get everyone under the sun) but for this one it's based on who we've been tied to thus far.

Took a different approach

I read it. However, Fitzpatrick is not the only top 10 guy we have spoken with. Im looking more for your justification as to why Fitz over someone else?

And again, two character concerns? im not sure thats very realistic after the Foster stuff....

Im sure they were doing due diligence on Key, but i have a hard time seeing how they could Justify any character concerns in this draft with the Foster stuff ongoing. Foster was a late first round pick in is own right. I will be severely disappointed if we continue to draft headcases.

I get it. It's just. Minkah and Key. Argh. But I get it.
Good for you NY., I know the 1st 2 picks were very tough for you
If they feel they've done their homework on key, I actually really like this draft. Minus minkah hahah.

I just cant get past my crush of pairing Josh sweat with kemoko turay tho

Who are the other top 10 picks we've spent as much time with besides Fitz? We had Smith in for a private workout and Ward? They've said they won't change their draft board because of Foster therefore based on what the info suggests and what THIS mock is about Fitz is the pick....again not what I would do but that's not what this is about man.

I don't believe in passing on every red flag player because they f**ked up a yr ago. Every single prospect should be looked at individually...Pringle is a 6th rd pick man, at that pt you can take the risk and move on. Key looks like it might be a Saleh project and he might have his name stamped to him. The only other guy we brought in worth a damn at edge (that we don't have to spend a 1st on) is sweat and I think he will be gone by 59...also no trades in this mock.

Just a different look compared to who we want/think will be there...it's about who they've spent the most time with, when they should be available, and need.

Dats it

Yup but from what we know they haven't sniffed Kemoko at all so he's not in this mock...I also think sweat will be gone before we pick at 59.

I'd be bummed if Minkah is the pick as well BUT you can't ignore the talent either.

You should do an updated mock independent of who they have met with just to make us feel better. (Keep Corbett, Warner and Meeks tho)

I'm gonna do my final mock a couple days before the draft. I will be completely wrong more than likely, but I like to look back at past mocks and see what if and how wrong I was lol
I like rounds 3 to 5. Not so much the first two.
