Rd 1, pick 9:
Harold Landry, Edge, Boston College
- Twitch, bend, dip, change of direction, hand placement. Getting our pass rusher early, time to get off the fields on 3rd down.
Rd 2, pick 59:
Austin Corbett, OL, Nevada
- Nasty, strong big bully. Would step in immediately potentially and start. Would give this line some cajones to pop Suh in the mouth.
Rd 3, pick 70:
Fred Warner, LB, BYU
- Range, coverage, downhill and sideline to sideline speed, smart, high character. Love Fred Warner, I really think this guy could be the steal of the draft
Rd 3, pick 74:
Quenton Meeks, CB, Stanford
- our type of CB, he'd be a great Sherman project. Coach him up and let him try to take over for Sherm eventually.
Rd 4, pick 128:
DaeSean Hamilton, WR, Penn St
- Swift and Shifty. Good luck covering this guy off the line. Absolutely and Shanahan WR. Another potential steal of the draft type of guy
Rd 5, pick 143:
Will Clapp, OL, LSU
- Versatile lineman who can slide around a be a plug and play type of guy. Moves well and would be a good scheme fit.
Rd 6, pick 184:
Christian Sam, LB, Arizona St
A tackling machine, but also good in coverage. I think he would be a great player in this system. Insurance for The Foster fallout. I think he and Warner could run things and be very good.
Rd 7, pick 227:
Christian Campbell, CB, Penn St
- Another double dip. This guys is exactly what we're looking for. Been a big fan of his since I first watched him. Long, physical, and a leader. Sign me up. Let him compete with Meeks. May the best man win.
Rd 7, pick 240:
Jordan Wilkins, RB, Ole Miss
- One of my draft crushes. Not really on anyone's radar, but this guy is a great zone fit. His hips are smooth like butter, and he isn't afraid to lower his shoulder.
