PK(1): Robbie Gould(2018)
P(1): Bradley Pinion(2018)
LS(1): Kyle Nelson(2018)
Spots like Mabin's, McCoil's, Hikutini's are up for discussion. In a perfect world we'd draft a S and 2 CBs, but I hate projecting trades.
But if we did manage to pull off a deal that netted us two mid round picks, maybe a 4th and a 5th, I'd say for 3rd- CB Kevin Toliver II, LSU, and 5th- S Trayvon Henderson, Hawaii, so both would take Mabin and McCoil's roster spots. And honestly, I think the above roster, plus these 2 make this team ready to compete in 2018.
Suspended: LB Reuben Foster(2020)
Inactives:
1. RB Joe Willliams
2. TE Cole Hikutini
3. OG Austin Corbett
4. OG Laken Tomlinson
5. OT Alex Cappa
6. NT DJ Jones
7. SAM Pita Taumoepenu
53-Man Roster(with extra 4th and 5th rd picks):

LS(1): Kyle Nelson(2018)
I personally hate the idea of trading down if Roquan Smith is there at 9, our biggest need IMO right now is MLB/WLB to take Foster's place, I wouldn't count on him being a 49er much longer, but if he's gone, then I'd trade back, and take Harold Landry, but that would change my entire mock.
My trades in current mock would be to trade back from 74 for an extra 4th, and trade back from 128 for an extra 5th.

I like a lot of your pics but I'm not a fan of Smith for multiple reasons plus what would be left on the board I think there's more attractive pieces. And I really would like a running back that can get that first down when we have half a yard to go. Cuz we don't have anybody that can do that. Especially since Kyle said juice will not be doing it

I guess one question I have for you somebody who does a lot more research than I do. If he has some issues shedding blocks, do you think that's not going to be an issue in the NFL?

I love it AB. That'd. be a near perfect draft.

Nice AB, I'm pretty certain that Carter will go higher based on his combine performance, and I love Mata'afa but not sure he'll fare any better than Solomon did on the edge. Could get with the rest

Your 2nd and 4th pick are horrendous, my opinion

The worst named prospects falling to us, I feel a curse, we should aim for Q. Meeks and A. Colbert, good dudes

AB's draft would be a total disaster.
First, we need Harold Landry.
Second, LB's , G. Avery

Overall, I would be very happy if the draft went down this way. However, I am going to ask you the same question as I asked MD.... Given the Niners' huge need for an edge rusher, which player actually makes the team better, R Smith or H Landry? Now, I know you have R Smith rated higher than Landry (as does MD and many other experts) but the conventional wisdom is this....if the Niners get a legitimate edge rusher, it makes their current crop of DLmen better because the opposing offenses have to deal with the edge and therefore, can't double team Buckner and/or Thomas. So, if you are Lynch, whom do you take at 9, R Smith or H Landry?
Part of the answer to this question lies in the difference in impact between Landry and the other edge rushers available later in the draft (pick 59 or later), and the difference between R Snith and the other ILBs available later in the draft. To put more simply, which pair of players make the NIners better, Landry and Jewell (for example) or R Smith and Hercules Mata'afa (or Turay, Sweat, Okoronkwo, etc.)?
Thanks AB...for all of your great work!
Cheers!

One of the deepest running back drafts in years and we have a need, I can't like a mock that doesn't get us one, and a good one.

You nailed it except for the LEO position and SAM. Love Mata'afa's effort, but don't think he will be an early round selection because of his measureables. Would switch him with Carter and that would be more realistic.

He wont, nor would any other WLB draft pick, be asked to stack and shed. And FYI, Edmunds is not good at taking on blockers either

Largely interchangeable in this scheme. And besides, again, it is a false narrative that Edmunds is any better in that regard
