Jerseys Final Mock...again...

Resign Eric Reid 1 yr 3 Million

Trades

Arik Armstead to the Bucs for Noah Spence, hear me out, with the additions of JPP and Curry, plus having Gholston still he is lost, AA would be a nice addition next to McCoy and the niners get a nice young pass rusher to compete at the LEO

9th overall pick to Buffalo for their 12th and 2nd

2018 NFL DRAFT

Round 1-ILB Roquan Smith, regardless of the Foster situation this is a need, if Foster gets lucky and the chick doesn't cooperate he will play this year which makes a duo now and the future great, Malcolm Smith, Korey Toomer and Brock Coyle are back ups and ST players..

Round 2-DE Arden Key, this is a risk I feel like is worth taking, compete with Attaochu, Marsh and Spence would be great competition

Round 2- C/G Frank Ragnow, back up center and competed with Garnett and Tomlinson for G spot assuming Cooper locks up a spot..

Round 3-WR Deon Cain, would be a steal in round 3 IMO, going from Watson to Bryant hurt him but his size speed combination is great l, Garçons successor

Round 3-DB Quentin Meeks, he's made to be a niner, Stanford connection, I honestly think this is a definite

Round 4-DB Tony Brown, can back up every position in the secondary, versitile defines him, ST star too, would love to see him run down punts and kicks and makes the returners pay

Round 5-OT Zachary Crabtree, yes Gilliam is the swing T as of now but I think this kid could be better and possible starter but I'm sure he probably won't see the field much, mostly inactive throughout the year

Round 6-DT James Looney, kids a beast and will back up both interior line positions on run downs

Round 7-RB Ryan Nall, big back for short yardage and ST player, Lynch will love this kid

Round 7-TE Ethan Wolff, competes for the 3rd TE spot

53 man Roster

Yup! Loved Noah Spence coming out in the draft. I personally don't like Key though but everything else looks good to me

Yeah I'm sure a lot will dislike the Key pick, I'm not even 100% on it but I like the idea of him in the 2nd and having competition, the Spence trade would be great and makes sense for both teams..

Yeah in the webzone mock I (Patriots) tried to trade the Buccs for Spence right after they picked up JPP and selected Landry. It was refused though . I think Spence very well could be on the block and I have to believe Lynch might know some people in Tampa. As far as Key it's just a risky pick in the 2nd when there's gonna still be plenty of good players available just may not have his potential upside

Great point, I remember last year early on in the process Spence was being talked about going top 15, like you said Spence should be available, hope Lynch jumps on it..
I think Lynch should draft Edmunds...in the 1st rd. I get Smith is terrific, but TE has enormous talent, size, range & speed. I'd also draft Josey Jewell, as Malcolm Smith is coming off an injury and Foster's future is highly in doubt. In addition, Lloyd's in his contract year, he likely won't be retained. The LB corps needs improvement, not just to replace Foster. In the 2nd rd, I'd draft Isaiah Wynn...arguably the most talented multi-position OL in this draft. He played all along GA's OL and did very well. He'd be an OL coach's dream. Love the Meeks/Brown & Nail picks. Quentin just seems like he belongs in SF, Brown's one of those guys you just can't keep off your roster and Nail's the power RB to get those tough yds. Well done.

Thanks, I really like Wynn too, I think he's going in the 20s tho, I wouldn't mind Edmunds either..

I'm a fan of this mock. I haven't put as much time into the draft this year so I'm not familiar with the late round picks but to me this looks great. If we take Key after all the meetings we have had with him I will have to trust Lynch on this one

That's honestly how I feel, I trust Lynch and his decisions, a lot will say what about the Foster decision ?? But you can't control players in the offseason..

Foster was a question mark but nothing to the degree of what he has been accused with. Fosters talent they had as top 3 so at 31 it was a no brainer to take him in my eyes.

As for Key, I don't think he has done anything violent or been arrested, just partied too much in college.

I might wait until the 3rd round to take him but if we do take him, Lynch and Peters did their homework on him

Agreed, I'd be shocked if Key drops to the 3rd, a team will take him before then just bc of potential, I'd think so at least..

I mean if Joe Mixon can be drafted in the 2nd round then I think so could Key.

Swap key for penny. Because we have Spence and jermy we don't need another leo. And Penny will beast out.
