Free Agency
Donte Fowler- Capable starter with upside.
Tyrell Williams- well documented as a possible pickup
Ronald Darby- Eagles have cap issues and we need someone capable of playing across from Sherman now and to lead our young corners after he's gone
Earl Thomas-secondary complete, our young guys have time to develop and provide great depth in case of injuries
Resign
Mostert, Armstead, Lee, Gould, Person
Release
Smith, Garçon, Mitchell
Draft
1. Josh Allen Edge Kentucky- either he or Bosa will be there. No drama here. Not overthinking things
2. Wide Reciever- N'Keal Harry, DK Metcalf, AJ Brown, Kelvin Harmon, Hakeem Butler- I believe one or more of these guys will be available at #36. I'll take any of the 5 to help our inept red zone issues once and for all.
3. Jalen Jelks Edge Oregon- yes another pass rusher...
4. Martez Ivey Gaurd Florida- can compete with Person and
5-7 Inside Linebacker, OT, backup TE
This creates our deepest team possible. What you might call doubling down at need positions, I look to turn some weak areas into strengths. This offseason stresses 3 position groups. Edge, WR and our Secondary. While I'm bullish on many of our young DB's, this gives us time to develop them. At WR We add size, depth and red zone qualities we've lacked. 4 8 figure salaries we can afford. I'm not projecting numbers RN but I do have some thoughts on structure and guarantees that I'll add in later.

not bad but in this scenario, another WR would be on the outs (not that I mind). Goodwin?
I would like to see another LEO type in FA.
I would draft 2 Edge guys. Not sure if Jelks is the best option that high in the 3rd.
I really don't like Ivey either, but another OG is not a bad idea.

Garçon released. If we keep 5/6 guys I'd think our group would look like WIlliams, Pettis, Rookie, Goodwin, and 1-2 of Bourne, James, Taylor. This group could withstand an injury and remain solid. Ivey was more of a projection of a prospect with value and availability at the spot. If things went down like this I'd expect Fowler and Allen to my Nickle DE's. Jelks I may be higher on then others. We need more disrupters to help the entire front. Rough draft here but conceptually what id like to see.

Not sure Goodwin would be safe over Bourne, Taylor or James.
