Jerseys quarter through Mock

1st this team hasn't shown a lot of weaknesses but we all know what's needed still, WR1, OG, S top 3 with CB next

Cuts

CJ
McKinnon
K Williams upgraded
Nzochoa
Goodwin ( hurts lol ) tho I feel Pettis might be traded

Not resigned

AA
Ward
Bourne
Coleman

Resigned

Blair 3 yrs 12 million

Trades

Solomon Thomas and our late 3rd and 5th next year for a mid 2nd rd pick, I give up on him I guess, rather have Blair at 4 million a year them Thomas at 8+ as the years go

Trent Taylor for a 5th rd pick, Richie James beats him out IMO

Free agents, keeping it real, some big names coming up to resign..

WR AJ Green, 2 yrs 30 million
DE Adam Gotsis 1 yr 2 million
CB Kendall Fuller 3 yrs 18 million

2020 NFL DRAFT

Rd 1. 49ers select S out of Alabama Xavier McKinney, this kid is a ball hawk, can play the run great too, he would complete this defense

Rd 2. 49ers select G out of Alabama Alex Leathewood, beats out Person day 1 and a staple on this line who can move to T if needed but Skule might be a steal so he stays at G.

Rd 4. 49ers select DT Out of FSU Marvin Wilson, 6'5 310, not resigning AA or Day and Jones is the only other D lineman who is over 300, the edges are set with Ford, Bosa and Blair, hopefully Street too, Maybe Wilson can slim down a little and take AAs spot at big end and slide next to Buckner on passing downs..

Rd 5. 49ers select CB out of Mizz Demarkus Acy, love this kids size and speed, good depth behind Sherman and AK on the outside

Rd 5. 49ers select WR out of Baylor Denzel Mims, Shanahan loves speed, I can see him taking Goodwins End arounds now

Rd 6. 49ers select RB out of BC AJ Dillon, he's a big kid at RB, different from what we have

Rd 7. 49ers select C out of Clemson Scott Pollard, depth across the line is a plus, and cheap to draft, Pollard, Person, Skule would be nice depth..

Rd 7. 49ers select S out of Clemson Tanner Muse, I feel this kid is going to be a great ST player a good depth..

Kittle-Dwelley-Toliolo
Green-Deebo-Pettis-Hurd-James-Mims

Why on earth are you letting Shon Coleman walk? We are already paper thin at O L depth. We need more OL, not dropping our swing tackle and replacing him with a guard.

I think we should try to re-sign Armstead. But if we let him walk he will surely get picked up by another team. Doesnt this net us a compensatory pick? Not sure, though, if I follow the logic of not resigning Armstead, who is playing very well, and trading Thomas.

Not interested in a 32 year old receiver. This is supposed to be a good year in the draft for receivers yet you wait until the 5th round?

We dont have a second round pick next year.

I'm letting Coleman walk Bc Skule will be the swing T until Staley retires hopefully, he will be cheaper and as of now looks better the Coleman ever has, AA might be playing good enough to where we won't be able afford him, I'm giving up on Solomon Thomas and getting the best return I can for him, he's just not what we hoped for, as of now Blair is better and will be cheaper, I think comp picks Goto next years draft and signing Green would wipe out a comp pick for AA, and I only waited to the 5th to draft a WR Bc of the Green signing, think about it, it all makes sense if you think it out..
I would love Leatherwood but I think he will be gone in the mid to late first round.
First place you lost me was cutting K'wuan Williams. Are you kidding with this? This guy has been nails all year and one of the best slot CB's in the NFL. Playing like a Pro Bowler IMO.

Not re-signing AA is almost a given, unless the Niners are willing to pay some serious bank to keep him. Think Ward sticks around if he stays healthy the rest of the season.

Like the idea of trading Solly, but not Trent Taylor. Don't think the Niners will get back a second rounder for him.

Free agent signings are money. Wonder if the Niners will have the cap space to accommodate all three signings.

Don't think the Niners will end up with that many picks. My guess is they trade their late first for a 2nd and a late 3rd (from the Titans). Maybe get a 4th for Solly if they're lucky. Like the picks overall, especially McKinney, Wilson and Mims. Good mid-season mock.

Yeah I did this week 4 before Williams was playing great and the sanders trade, my next definitely won't look the same lol
Moves I like:
AJ Green (This is a must)
Cutting Goodwin (Goodwin will be gone. Sucks because I like the person and the player but it's clear his head is not in it right now)
The draft

Moves I dislike:
Resigning Blair (Love the player but that money should be used for a more natural 4-3 end/signing AA)
Letting AA walk (we can franchise him at the very least... not sure why we would just let him walk)
Letting Coleman walk (I think he has the talent to really thrive in this system if he can be healthy. Our coaches have done an amazing job with our backups but Coleman has more talent than Skule and Brunskill so we should try to keep him)

Moves I question your sanity:
Trading Thomas for a second-round pick (It would be a reach to say we could get a ham sandwich for Thomas at this point)
Cutting Williams to sign Kendall Fuller (Dude seriously WTF )
To everyone, this was a week 4 mock before trades, before Williams was playing like a stud, I believe he missed 2 of the 1st 4 weeks so I expected a lost season but yes I was very wrong

Can't wait to see the next version with changes. Good ideas in this one already.
