Based on initial estimates, we should have about $24M in cap space entering the off-season. I think we go fairly light in free agency and focus on resigning our own and leveraging the draft to augment our roster.
---
Resign: Ward, Day
Tender: Mullens, Breida, Harris, Bourne, Dwelley, Wilson, Brunskill
Extend: Garoppolo (reduce 2020 salary), Kittle, Juice, Buckner, Witherspoon
Release: McKinnon, Goodwin (retires for Olympics)
---
With the above moves, we should have about $20M to spend on free agency and draft picks. So with that...here we go...
Free Agency:
Robby Anderson - WR - Jets | 6-3 with 4.36 speed. Replaces Goodwin as he retires, but has upside with Shanahan's skills and Welker's mentorship.
Carl Nassib - DE - Bucs | Will play a similar role to Arik Armstead but at nearly 1/3 of the expected price as him.
NFL Draft:
Trades:
- 49ers 1st round pick for Titans 2nd and 3rd round picks.
NFL Draft:
R2: Liam Eichenberg - T/G - Notre Dame (via TEN)
R3: Khalid Kareem - EDGE - Notre Dame (via TEN)
R3: Ashtyn Davis - S - Cal
R4: Chris Owens - C/G - Alabama
R5: Jaron Bryant - CB - Fresno St.
R6: Luke Farrell - TE - Ohio St.
R7: Rakeem Boyd - RB - Arkansas
Depth Chart:
QB: Garoppolo/Mullens/Beathard

Robby Anderson doesn't seem like the type of guy there looking to add to the locker room. Trade is cool thats great value for the 32nd pick. nice draft

Obviously the Sanders trade eliminates a couple of these picks. Like the Eichenberg and Davis picks. Would rather go with another LB instead of a TE. Solid draft.

I don't really want to see Armstead in a Seahawks uniform. I have to believe that Paraag can re-sign him.

He'll either be tagged, extended or traded but it won't be the seahawks
