$12M in cap space
Resign: All ERFAs, two RFAs (Bourne, Breida), Armstead, Garland, Blair, Day, Lee
Restructure: McKinnon ($5M in cap savings)
Extend: Kittle, Buckner, D. Jones, Juice ($3M saved)
Trades:
49ers trade Goodwin and 7th round pick for Chargers 6th round draft pick. LAC gets a replacement for Benjamin. ($3.6M saved)
49ers trade S. Thomas for Ravens Hayden Hurst - TE. They need DL help, we need receiving help. ($3M saved)
NFL Draft:
49ers trade 1st for Colts 2nd and 3rd round picks. Colts trade up to snag Jordan Love - QB, emulating the Ravens Jackson trade up.
R2: Jaylon Johnson - CB - Utah (via IND) | Outside or inside, Johnson is a chess piece with elite athleticism. Reed moves to FS full time.
R3: Van Jefferson - WR - Florida (via IND) | Crisp route runner with avg. speed, Jefferson can be an upgrade at the slot position.
R5: Jonathan Garvin - DE - Miami | Developmental power EDGE guy that will compete for playing time with Blair.
R6: Nick Harris - C - Washington | Technically sound, but small size and frame pushes him down to Day 3. (via LAC)
R6: Jeff Thomas - WR - Miami | Burner speed, but under utilized due to poor scheme fit and QB play in college.
R7: Robert Windsor - DL - Penn St. (via DET) | Competes with Taylor, Givens, and Street for a spot on the depth chart.

Dig all the moves. Is Jeff the absolute burner, but body catcher with a rediculous diva me first attitude? If it's who I'm thinking of, dunno if he's a fit in our locker room

Nice mock Geek. Like the trade down and picks at positions of need.
Few questions about your moves:
Do you really want to extend Day? Thought that was one guy we could replace with one of the young bucks coming off of IR and save some cap space.
Where do you see Sanders signing and for how much? Looks like he ends up elsewhere in this scenario.
Do you know Van Jefferson just had surgery? Seems like a Baalke special if you are picking a guy who left the Combine to get surgery on his foot.

Fair point, but late in the draft, you are getting more of these raw prospects with some issues. If the locker room is sound, he could mature here.

Day should be a cheap resign. Look at his stats. He's going to be a camp body wherever he goes. With Thomas out of the picture, I think Day's role expands as a 3T and 0T in our scheme.
For Sanders, I think he gets a 3 year, $36M deal with $18 GTD. It will post likely have an option on that 3rd year that a team can decline. TB, DAL, GB, and JAX would be good fits.
Jefferson's recovery time is 6-8 weeks, meaning he should fully healthy by TC, let alone draft day.

I like this mock a lot. Curious what made you decide to keep McKinnon over Breida?

Shanahan seems determined to make McKinnon part of our offense. He'd instantly be the best pass catching option out of the back field. Mostert provides change of pace reps and ST duties. Coleman and McKinnon would be a solid 1-2 punch in this scheme.
Breida is getting the Pettis treatment. Get bigger and stronger, or fail out of the NFL.

Not drafting any o lineman? Especially after what happened to Person in the super bowl. Van Jefferson as our starter? I'll pass on that. Stack the box and we have nowhere to go offensively.
