HBB No Trade Mock

13 Henry Ruggs III WR Alabama
Tough decision if no WRs are off the board prior to 13, although doubtful Gruden passes on WR. I think Lynch goes with the guy who can spread the defense like Goodwin, but who is a significant upgrade over him. Ruggs adds possibility of more misdirection since both he and Deebo can both be used in the running attack. If you can get something out of Pettis then this is a pretty good group. Deebo/Ruggs/Taylor/Bourne/Hurd/James/Pettis.

31 Josh Jones OT Houston
Athletic, raw OT who will need a year to be starter-ready. Some mocks have him in the late 20s, but I think he will be there at 31 since he is still pretty raw. He is a fit with zone blocking scheme and moves into LT or RT after Staley departs.

157 Julian Blackmon SS Utah
Depth at SS in case Tartt departs in free agency next year.

177 Darrynton Evans RB Appalachian State
Add more competition at RB. Another fast RB.

211 L'Jarius Sneed CB Louisiana Tech
218 Nevelle Clarke CB UCF
A lot of young CBs on the roster but a lot of uncertainty in free agency next year, so add a couple of late round picks for competion. First round pick next year likely a CB.

246 Bravvion Roy NT Baylor
Depth behind D.J. Jones.
i'll be pretty bummed if we dont trade down with atleast one of our picks.
You had me at Ruggs...then you lost me :(

If we don't trade down and take Josh Jones there I'll be super confused.
Remember you lose the ability to hold on to a player an extra year if you trade out of 31.

You lose the ability to add a player for 4 years if you dont trade down
I like the odds of getting one better player at 31.
