Social Distancing Mock 1.0

Overview:
-SF trades #31 to LAC for #37 and #112.
-SF trades #37 and #156 to TB for #45 and #76
-Goodwin traded to NE for #172.
-Denver trades #15 and #46 to Cleveland for #10 to grab Ruggs and pair him with emerging WR1 Sutton and give them deep threat they need and add another weapon for Drew Lock.

49er selections: #13, #45, #76, #112, #172, #176, #210, #217, #245

R1:13. Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama. 6'1", 192. Missing out on Ruggs hurts, but Kyle will take best all-around WR in draft and be ecstatic.

R2;45. Jaylon Johnson, CB, Utah. 6'0" 190, Long, physical corner can match up against bigger WRs in the NFL and NFC west.

R3:76. Jordan Elliot. DL, Missouri. 6'4", 315. Position and scheme flexibility along DL, constant double teams in college will not happen along SF's D-line. Buckner's replacement.
https://thedraftnetwork.com/player/jordan-elliott/7dxcMmdTfH

R4:112. Harrison Bryant, TE, Florida Atlantic. 6'5" 243. TE? Why not? plus athlete, willing blocker, great hands. George Kittle clone, that's his player comp. Have fun defending this offense.

R5:172. Trevis Gipson, EDGE, Tulsa. 6'4" 260. Upside pass rusher, groomed to take Fords spot eventually. Maybe wishful thinking at this spot.
https://thedraftnetwork.com/player/trevis-gipson/EMPCyH2IFo

R5:176. Darrynton Evans, RB App State. 5'10" 200. Nice fit for Kyle's offense. Well rounded RB with 4.41 speed.
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/darrynton-evans?id=32194556-4111-6537-4adc-98552053123e

R6:210. Isaiah Coulter, WR. Rhode Island. 6'2" 198. One more weapon for this offense, maybe little insurance for Hurd. 4.45 speed.
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/isaiah-coulter?id=3219434f-5516-0662-8b6d-a1ee4723ab0a

R7:217. Kyle Hinton, OL, Wasburn. 6'3", 310. Beast small school OL prospect in country. 49ers had meeting scheduled until the Corona.
https://www.49erswebzone.com/articles/135363-49ers-pre-draft-visit-scheduled-washburn-guard-kyle-hinton/

R7:245. John Runyan Jr, OL, Michigan. 6'4" 306. Going with the bloodline on this one, played T at Michigan can move inside in the NFL. Back up guard potential.

Hope these draft positions are accurate, mocks were all over the map with some players.

I can dig it
I'm here for the gangbang! I like it but I would probably go guard or center with the second pick
No OL until #217? Pass protection is far and away our biggest team need.
Love all the trades!

Let's get another Jerry in red & gold

I'd like to see who else was available at pick 45. I'm not sold on Jaylon Johnson in zone coverage.

I like Jordan Elliot at that pick. I'm starting to watch more DTs.

I totally disagree that Harrison Bryant is close to Kittle. He tested poorly and can't block at all. He'd be a moving TE at the next level (until he's learns to block).

Maybe go IOL a little earlier

Thanks for the mock.
Yeah I love the way it started even with Ruggs being stolen from us but after that with all the picks you acquired I'd be a bit underwhelmed.

You're right was thinking possibly Muti, Hunt, or Cushenberry at 45.

I wouldn't Cushenberry but you're on the right track. An OL would be a 1,000 snap starter. A TE2 is a "luxury" pick (but still important). It's important to get your high snap guys drafted first. Then fill out your role, depth and flier players.

But great trades and I like a lot of the players you targeted.

Funny, Zierlein claims Bryant is a plus athlete and great blocker then Crabbs rates him as poor and needing to draw S or DBs to be effective. Had Alton Robinson in R4 and initially but think he is climbing boards and had TE Cheyenne O'Grady at 172 but was wary of some red flags with him.

Was torn between Gladney and Johnson at corner, both could be by 45. Liked Johnson's size and physicality. Gladney probably better zone fit. Like NCommand also said prolly should've gone OL there with Cushenberry, Hunt, or Muti. (Thought Ruiz would be gone at 45)

Thanks for the feedback. Still waiting on your 2.0......are you waiting for SF to sign Shelby Harris?

Good points regarding OL and TE. Makes sense. Thanks for the feedback.

Any time. And TBF, ShanaLynch haven't exactly followed this advice themselves so anything goes. Haha.

Any draft with jeudy for our first pick, gets me goin
Heck yeah Jeudy and a trade down works for me and accumulate picks.
My 6' away view is very good, I like the defensive picks. I think they will take nickle and dime players like CB/S's and edge rush/coverage hybrid guys. Who in this draft can cover Watkins?
