Did a what I think the 49ers will draft mock draft. There were many better players available at the picks namely Will Johnson at 11, Jordan Burch past the 2nd, and Josh Simmons in the 5th. Williams lasting to the 3rd and Grant in the 2nd seemed unrealistic as well.

I like it

Would not be mad at this even if it meant passing on some good players
First mock with the official draft order. went with the Rams 1 year rebuild approach: DE and DT early to fix the DL and hope to hit on mid round OL

Quinn Ewers available in the 4th? If not available then probably the best receiving TE at that point - Oronde Gadsen II from Syracuse.

15: Wyatt Milum, 6'6, 320, OT, West Virginia
46: Mike Green, 6'4, 250, Edge, Marshall
77: Tate Ratledge, 6'6, 320, G, Georgia
101: Chandler Rivers, 5'10, 180, CB, Duke
113: Quinn Ewers, 6'2, 210, QB, Texas
151: Jay Higgins, 6'2, 230, LB, Iowa
173: Aeneas Peebles, 6'1, 290, DT, Virginia Tech
180: Andrew Mukuba, 6'0, 190, S, Texas
248: Cobee Bryant, 6'0, 175, CB, Kansas
249: Joey Hobert, 5'11, 180, WR Texas State

2nd draft from PFF:

11: Kelvin Banks Jr. 6'4, 320, OT, Texas
43: Jack Sawyer, 6'5, 260, Edge, Ohio State
75: Harold Fannin Jr, 6'4, 230, TE, Bowling Green
101: Chandler Rivers, 5'10, 180, CB, Duke
112: Luke Kandra, 6'4, 325, G, Cincinnati
147: Jay Higgins, 6'2, 230, LB, Iowa
173: Aeneas Peebles, 6'1, 290, DT, Virginia Tech
185: Daylan Carnell, 6'2, 220, S, Texas
248: Donovan Edwards, 6'1, 215, RB, Michigan
249: Joey Hobert, 5'11, 180, WR Texas State

3rd draft from PFF:

Jack Sawyer is no longer available at 43 hence the move to Mike Green. Aeneas Peebles is going earlier as well so mixed up my last four picks with smooth operator Tai Felton, stout defensive tackle Thor Griffith, and another FCS champion in Mark Gronowski, though he has 55 starts under his belt vs. Lance's 16.

11: Kelvin Banks Jr. 6'4, 320, OT, Texas
43: Mike Green, 6'4, 250, Edge, Marshall
75: Harold Fannin Jr, 6'4, 230, TE, Bowling Green
101: Chandler Rivers, 5'10, 180, CB, Duke
112: Luke Kandra, 6'4, 325, G, Cincinnati
147: Jay Higgins, 6'2, 230, LB, Iowa
173: Tai Felton 6'2, 180, WR, Maryland
185: Thor Griffith, 6'2, 320, DT, Louisville
248: Mark Gronowski, 6'3, 225, QB, South Dakota State
249: Damien Martinez, 6'0, 230, RB, Miami

I think Mike Green is better than Sawyer

4th draft from PFF:

Mike Green is going earlier now - may not be available with our 2nd rounder. Anyway, I jiggered some trades to allow us to get a couple of 1st round picks. Probably not likely but PFF allowed them at 80% and 65% chances of being accepted:

Traded 11, 75, and 99 to the Colts for 14, 45, and 80
Traded 43, 45, and 80 to the Broncos for 20 and 52

As a result:

14: Kenneth Grant, 6'4, 340, DT, Michigan
20: Armand Membou, 6'3, 320, G/T, Missouri
52: Tyler Baron, 6'5, 260, Edge, Miami
111: Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson, 6'7, 330, OT, Florida
137: Denzel Burke, 6'1, 195, CB, Ohio State
138: Tai Felton, 6'2, 180, WR, Maryland
149: Jay Higgins, 6'2, 230, LB, Iowa
187: Ja'Quinden Jackson, 6'2, 230, RB, Arkansas
185: Brian Ugwu, 6'2, 245, Edge, Miami (OH)

Tried going with Starks at 11 to see what would happen. Still feel pretty good about OL and DL. But getting Membou at 255 sure helped…

Yeah that website hasn't put Membou at the proper ranking. Some of these sites are pretty funny when I'm landing fringe first rounders like Mike Green, Membou and Josh Simmons in the 6th and 7th round.

I went against the grain of my previous PFF drafts and mixed it up this time around:

11: Armand Membou, 6'3, 320, OT, Missouri
43: Kyle Kennard, 6'5, 255, Edge, South Carolina
75: Derrick Harmon, 6'5, 315, DT, Oregon
99: Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson, 6'7, 330, OT, Florida
111: Denzel Burke, 6'1, 195, CB, Ohio State
137: Jordan James, 5'10, 210, RB, Oregon
138: Cody Simon, 6'2, 235, LB, Ohio State
149: Tai Felton, 6'2, 180, WR, Maryland
187: Malachi Moore, 6'0, 200, S, Alabama
256: Brady Cook, 6'2, 215, QB, Missouri
Ashton Jeanty in the first!

A fun experiment. Not sure it's realistic but getting weapons like Jeanty, Savion and Ferguson but still landing solid beef on both lines would be fun as hell.

Trade back, take Jeanty, still get solid linemen on both sides plus some DBs, LBs and depth at TE and WR. Who knew being a GM was so easy?
