Trade down mock

Resign
Trent
Witherspoon (should be cheap and can't count on rookies early)
Moseley (see spoon)
DJ Jones
Brunskill (cheap and can be depth at alot of places)
Juice

Cut
Richburg
Ford

Sign
Alex Mack
Keanu Neal
AJ McCarron(cheap, good backup that wont cause us to beat ourselves)

DRAFT

1. Lawrence
2.Wilson (Carolina trade up)
3. Ja' Marre Chase
4. Mac Jones (ATL)
5. Penei Sewell
6. Devonta Smith
7. Justin Fields (DEN)
8. Rashawn slater (NYJ)
9. Micah Parsons (DET)
10. Surtain
11. Kwity Paye
12. Trey Lance (pittsburgh)

49ers trade #12 & our 6th to Pitt for #24, 2022 1st and their 4th this year. This gives us ammo to for QB if the oppurtunity arises from draft to draft. Or ammo to move up in 2022 if need be.

24. Wyatt Davis (perfect world Alijah Vera-Tucker is here) Jeremy Mayfield another option. Though I prefer to select the guy who played guard and at a high level

2nd. Patrick Jones DE Pitt. Nice addition to the DL that will only help our secondary.

3rd (comp) Israel Mukuamu, CB, South Carolina

4th Jaelon Darden WR, North Texas. Another WR that Shanny can do alot o things with. Would also add speed to the WR group and a return man

4th(steelers trade) Keither Taylor CB, Washington

5th Drake Jackson C, Kentucky. learns from Mack will be backup but we'd also have Brunskill if need be

5th (saints) Reed Blankenship, S, Middle tennessee st. Dude makes plays all over the defensive backfield. One of my biggest crushes

5th (Sanders comp) Khalil Herbert RB, Va tech. erfect scheme fit. Love mostert and Wilson but if we are concerned with JG's injuries...

6th traded

7th Ta' Quon Graham DT, Texas we need depth on that oline

7th Zach Davidison TE, Central Missouri. Seems like a great receiving TE that would fit what we do. Not much on his blocking.

If we had Pitts on the board and traded back I'd probably lose my s**t.

Agreed. BA, Deebo, Pitts and Kittle sounds like heaven

Overall i like what you did but I'd take Pitts allday
Wyatt Davis is injured ? has there been any update on him?
Nice work however zero chance in hell Mac Jones goes at 4 in the draft.

also, no resigning either of
Juice
Verrett
Hyder

I'd put the money slotted here for McCarron and keep these guys. Even a backup QB is going to take a big chunk out of the cap and Rosen is probably as good as AJ.

If Fields somehow falls to 7 NOW is the time to move up for a QB not this draft to draft stuff.

Cost would be what...two 2nds? Lynch better make that deal if on the table for #7
Really like Darden, gives this offense what it doesn't have: a burner to take top off. Overall solid draft. Really got to try to resign Hyder though iMO.
Two omissions in FA for the Niners in Verrett and one of their two DE options in Hyder or Blair. Like the ideas of signing Mack and Neal, but McCarron? I didn't even know he was still on an NFL roster.

Like the idea of having more draft capital then less, but why would the Niners trade down from 12 with a QB falling right into their lap?
Like the trade down option this year, agree Alijah Vera-Tucker would be my target. Have a feeling just a few picks higher than 24 would be needed. Love the idea of getting him around 17-20 and getting a day 2 pick
