• 12. Rashawn Slater – Scouts say he can play anywhere on the line and did a fine job against all of the top DEs in 2019 before sitting out this year. Quick, stout at 63 and 320 with long arms, so can handle the long DE types.....and he won't cost 18+ million dollars per season. One doesn't know if Trent Williams will be back and so he is the highest rated on the board in this mock simulated draft behind Pennei Sewell. This is my 19th draft and I kind of know the players ranking on the pfn site. There are perhaps a lot of talented tall corner's and safeties who can be had in the latter rounds thus I've been avoiding Surtain, Farley, and Horn cuz the league now favors receivers thus perhaps devalues corner a bit although we've had two of the best just not healthy at the same time. Our most important player by a country mile is, JG and now with a former 1st first rounder who has a great arm and college track record behind him perhaps we can stop the silly talk of getting rid of the guy who went 5-0 after taking the reigns and then 8-0 to start 2019 when he came back from injury. Kyle limits his throws to protect him but he is deadly when the unleash him and his line and receiving core has been in tact. Take the great play of the corners and even the Defensive ends away from the superbowl team and you still have a very good team but if Jimmy goes down we are struggling to get 6-7 wins
  • · 48. Creed Humphrey – the highest rated center besides Rashawn Slater (they have Rashawn listed under every category of OL).—throw him in with some inexpensive vets and let them compete for the position. I was fine with Hroniss Grassu? or Tom Compton or Ben Garland as long as Kittle, Samuel, Aiyuk, Mostert and Jimmy G are there and healthy and able to practice together this offense can catch fire with all of those guys imo.

  • Paulson Adebo – didn't play this year but was great when he did play in previous years.—stanford guy. 62 200

  • · 117. keith taylor – really athletic 63 and a half corner from Washington who needs a little refinement but fits our mold and did a fine job for the always talented UofW cbs in the season and games he was able to play in as a soph? jr?
  • · 121. Jaelon Darden—59 175 and plays for a small school—but you should see his tape—noticed he has been moving up on pfn or pff?---as they had him ranked earlier near 170 and now he is near 150's or 140's—makes guys look foolish and had 20 tds similar to some small guys going in the first round that play for Alabama.
  • 156. Divine Deablo is a big 230 lb safety who might not replace our starter who has been great when healthy- Tart but can compete with Marcell Harris He was a value pick according to the simulator here. -does have good measurables—size weight and some production and awards etc.

· 173. Marvin Wilson – 5 star high school recruit that didn't have tons of nfl players around him but who puts a lot of pressure on qb from DT position and 4/3 defense—manhandles opponents at 63 and 320lb—beast!---this site had him rated Low?--and even at that I got him below where he was rated so I got lucky to get him here and he had press that suggested that he very easily couldve been a 1st or 2nd rounder. (that was the expectation) and I saw some tape of him throwing a center down then exploding and wrapping up a qb twisting and bringing him down like and alligator attacking a medium sized dog.
  • · 182. Trevon Grimes – 6'4 220lb wr that transferred to florida after not getting enough reps at Ohio State and then had to still play 2nd fiddle to 2 1st rd picks but still managed 600 yards and 9 tds—said he was getting wide open at senior bowl big fast guy that didn't get a lot of opportunity—but will probably go higher.
  • · 196. 6' 205 lb cb for Oregon that did great in 2019 when he last played--great this low, can be a quality starter who drops due to covid year off.
  • · 228.tre Norwood – big s/cb with production skills etc---a lot of competition at defensive back!
  • · 238. Christian uphoff – big cb safety—did well in college and had good production.

Note in some drafts I was able to handle some trade "offers" from desperate teams and get a solid group I liked as much as this one yet still come away with a 1st and a 2nd next year or two 2nds and a 3rd and still fill a lot or most all of the holes to my satisfaction on this site.
