Assumptions:
- Jimmy G remains our QB to start 2021. We don't force a QB selection here, but if someone drops, we snag them.
- We resign K. Williams, and sign L. Taylor (G, GB) in free agency.
- Lynch actively trades on draft day to beef up our day 2 picks. One big surprise move here.

NFL Draft:

JAX: Lawrence - QB | No brainer. Minshew is traded as they sign Alex Smith and C.J. Beathard after the draft.
NYJ: Wilson - QB | Fields could be an option, but Wilson is a perfect fit. Darnold traded to WFT.
CAR: Fields - QB | TRADE - CAR offers a massive deal to trade up w. MIA. Bridgewater traded to DEN.
ATL: Sewell - T | No one for a trade back, so ATL goes BPA here. Fortifies the OL.
CIN: Chase - WR | Reiff signing makes selecting Chase less painful. Another weapon for Burrow.
PHI: Smith - WR | No one for a trade back, they address their biggest positional weakness.
NE: Lance - QB | TRADE - Billy B is going wild. Trades up with DET to get their QB of the future.
MIA: Pitts - TE | Another weapon for Tua + a s*** ton more picks due to the trade down.
DEN: Parsons - LB | Fangio salivates getting Parsons here. The defense has a new leader now.
DAL: Surtain - CB | Jones biases Alabama pick and NFL DNA over Farley.
NYG: Slater - T/G/C | Gettleman needs to protect Jones at all costs. Slater projects as their starting C.
LAC: Darrisaw - T | SF does a trade back, obtaining a 4th and 6th (via JAX) via LAC - protect Herbert.

49ers Draft:

R1: Farley - CB - Virginia Tech (via LAC) | Perfect scheme fit and bolsters our secondary.

TRADE: 49ers trade 2nd and 4th for PHI's 2nd round pick.

R2: Jenkins - T/G - Oklahoma St. (via PHI) | He ideally could play RG or RT, but instantly beefs up our OL.

TRADE: Colts trade 2nd and 2022 3rd round pick for Mike McGlinchey. McGlinchey becomes the Colts LT of the future; cap move for SF.

R2: Moore - WR/KR - Ole Miss (via IND) | Speed threat that offers upside in the slot and on ST duties.

TRADE: 49ers trade 4th and 5th (via NO) Ravens 3rd (comp) pick

R3: Tremble - TE - Notre Dame (comp) | Instantly upgrades our #2 TE spot. Upside as a slot or in-line blocker as well.

R3: Grant - S - UCF (comp - Saleh) | Competition with Moore at S, along with a projected impact player on ST.

R5: Dalman - C - Stanford | ZBS ideal fit, and is mentored by one of the best in Alex Mack. Brunskill focuses on tackle.

TRADE: 5th via NO for Jaguars Minshew - QB. Baalke throws us a bone for Marathe vouching for him to become GM.

R5: McPhearson - CB/NB - Texas Tech (comp) | NB depth that learns behind one of the best - K. Williams.

R6: Reed - EDGE - Virginia Tech | Likely a PS player, but adds depth to our unit.

R7: Core - S/LB - Alcorn St. (via NYJ) | Developmental prospect. Could project at LB or S.

Post-Draft Free Agency Signings:
- Willis, Hyder and Tartt return for a reasonable deals.
- De'Vondre Campbell and Matt Breida sign for a cheap deals to improve depth + competition in TC.

With $7M left, it would be difficult to see us signing Lane, Hyder, Tartt, KW, and Willis without some restructuring. All those guys would cost $12M minimum for 2021.

Overall, if it can be pulled off...this would be a stacked team. Althought I would move Brunskill to starting RT. Would slot Hyder as the starting DE opposite to Bosa and Ebukam would play SLB and move to the edge on passing downs

I'm OK with this draft because it definitely makes us deeper and it might help us on the old o line. I don't know necessarily that your first pick knocks off Mosley as the starter. I know he's good I'm just not so sure. And I am of the belief that your first draft pick no matter what should be a starter. Needs to make an impact year one. If we have a chance at 12 to draft a tackle, We need to do so. Our roster could very well be the best in our division but we definitely have the weakest quarterback. We definitely need to do what we need to do to give him more time

KW contract can be backloaded. And the market has been EXTREMELY soft for guys like Hyder and Tartt. According to AB, we probably have ~$12M in cap room. So I could see vet min for Lane and Willis, $2M-$3M for Hyder and Tartt each, and then $2M-$4M for KW (low 2021 hit).

So let's say that's $7M spent on those players. That leaves us with ~$5M left. But the MM trade frees up over $3M in cap space. Pair that with a Tomlinson or Armstead restructure, and we'll still be in a good healthy spot.
You would have to assume the Colts FO are brain dead to make that trade for MM. And our coaching staff must be retarded to start McKivitz at LT. No way can that happen. They would need to fill that spot with a draft pick and Brunskill

He would send Moseley right to the the bench. No question

Would love it if we can do it. Team would be completely stacked and ready to win now
Don't think a four trade mock is very realistic for this year's squad after their solid free agency period. That said, Farley has to undergo a procedure on his back which worries me with our team's history of drafting or signing health risks. Agree in principle that Farley would be a great fit, but now I'm unsure. Great picks and players in 2nd and 3rd rounds. After that, you have me scratching my head with your day 3 picks. Dalman is a reach and the rest of the guys I don't recognize just by their last names. Like the positions you filled, but don't know much about the players.
Can't do it with the QB position. Minshew not gonna cut it when Jimmy goes down.

If Mac Jones is there at 12 that has to he the pic. His floor is Jimmy already out of the box as a rookie. If Jimmy goes down we very likely get BETTER immediately and can still make a playoff run. Minshew comes in we ain't winning sh** and season is done.

I like Farley but we can get a good corner in the 2nd/3rd round. There is no acceptable QB option after the 1st round. I want Wilson but not gonna be pissed at all with Jones or one of the others.

With Watson destroying any of our plans to get him QB, has to be a QB in round 1 or it is a hard pass from me.
