Justin's New and Improved Mock

*Used the PFN mock draft simulator

#3 Overall Pick
Ohio State QB Justin Fields
- Im not sold on either Jones or Lance. Jones has too low of a ceiling and Lance has too low of a floor. Fields to me is the safest of the three. Great pocket awareness, can throw with guys in his face, mobile, durable, faced the best talent in CFB, high completion percentage, and lots of experience. What i liked most about him is when he took that rib shot in the Clemson game and only sat out one play, then came back to dominate the Clemson defense while being in obvious pain. True competitor! As much I would like to create more cap space with releasing or trading JimmyG, I think he has a better chance of bringing us to a Sb in 2021 than Fields does. Lets give Fields a year to take in the game and learn the system.

#43 Overall Pick
Ole Miss WR Elijah Moore
- Shocked to see this guy drop so far. He proved that he is a very fast guy with his 40 time. His speed combined with his route running skills will give us a Tyreek Hill clone. Moore, Ajuik, and Samuel will be one of the best WR trios in the league.

#102 Overall Pick
Illinois OG Kendrick Green
- I wanted to at least grab one IOL in the upper end of the draft. We have future question marks at all 3 inside positions so this helps answer some of those. He will compete with Brunskill for that RG position and hopefully beat him out so Brunskill can concentrate on backing up all 5 positions on the line.

#117 Overall Pick
Pittsburg DE Patrick Jones
- Quick and strong but just needs some help on developing moves and diagnosing plays. Learning from Bosa and our great defensive staff, he will get all help he needs to be an effective edge rusher.

#155 Overall Pick
Virginia Tech S Divine Deablo
- I dont think anyone here is sold on Tartt so we need to look for an answer at SS for 2022 and a backup for Tartt's inevitable injuries. Divine is the perfect mold of SS and will fit nicely in this scheme.

#172 Overall Pick
Minnesota CB Benjamin St-Juste
- We need some depth at the position and he brings alot of value at this pick. Everything we look for in a CB.

#180 Overall Pick
Miss State RB Kylin Hill
- Didnt play much in 2021 but he is a prototypical zone scheme running back. He finds the creases and blasts through them. He also is a very capable receiver. Makes too much sense.

#194 Overall Pick
Cal CB Camryn Bynum
- More depth at the position. He is a leader with fluid hips and change of direction. He drops because of size and trouble with bigger receivers. Sounds like he can man the slot and backup KW.

#230 Overall Pick
Miami K Jose Borregales
- I think he comes in and ends up on the PS but will offer a good option in case Gould somehow gets hurt and can take over in the future so we can save some cap space.

Nice draft, I love the Casey Hayward pickup as well
Excellent draft. Just a little too optimistic on St. Juste, Hill, and Jones where you have them going. IMHO

Same thoughts as well. If it happens, it's a great draft.

Thanks! He knows the system and i think we would be down for a modest 1 year contract after a down season

Awesome job! If 70% of this happens, I'm having a Christmas party in April! Lol
If this mock somehow happened I may legit cry from happiness.
