MBA Post Senior Bowl Mock

After the Senior Bowl and post Mike McDaniel getting hired with the Dolphins, the Niners now have NINE draft picks before they start negotiating a trade for Jimmy G. Even without a first round pick, the Niners have plenty of draft capital to rebuild their roster even with 24 UFA's still to be dealt with. As of today, the most pressing needs are CB, Edge, Safety, KR and IOL. The secondary needs are RB, TE, DT and backup QB. Based on Drafttek's big board, here is my latest stab at a mock

Round 2, No. 61 overall Kyler Gordon, CB Washington - boundary corner with all the physical tools to handle coverage and run defense
Round 3, No. 93 overall Boye Mafe Edge Minnesota - had amazing Senior Bowl performance; may not make it this far but we can hope; physical freak
Round 3, No. 98 overall Christian Watson WR North Dakota State - former teammate who also had a great Senior Bowl week; big, fast WR who can also return kicks
Round 4, No. 130 overall Mario Goodrich CB Clemson - long physical CB who excels in run support; great ball skills as former receiver; All ACC in 2021
Round 5, No. 170 overall Dohnavon West OC Arizona St - experienced and mobile C/G prospect;
Round 6, No. 186 overall Cole Turner TE Nevada - good athlete with impressive size, speed and blocking ability
Round 7, No. 251 overall Tycen Anderson S Toledo - hybrid FS/SS who played all over the defense even at Edge rusher
Round 7, No. 254 overall Cordell Volson OT North Dakota State - RT prospect who showed he could play inside as well at Shrine Bowl
Round 7, No. 260 overall James Houston IV LB Jackson St - hybrid OLB/DE who had 16.5 sacks but proved he could play off ball during Shrine Bowl week

Target UDFA's
RB's - Pierre Strong South Dakota, TJ Pledger Utah
OT - Matt Waletzko North Dakota
OG - Paul Grattan Jr UCLA
WR - Tay Martin Oklahoma State
P - Jake Camarda Georgia, Jordan Stout (PK)
Edge - Dominique Robinson MIami Ohio

Love it overall, Gordon is my favorite prospect for the Niners.

I like it a lot but I would've preferred to give an offense of lineman a little bit earlier
I'm sold

This draft does not take into account what the Niners may do in free agency. If the Niners sign either James Daniels from the Bears or Alex Cappa from the Bucs as a new RG, the draft of West later should take care of the center position for the future. This draft will change after free agency and the trade of Jimmy G. Thanks for the feedback.
Nice mock
