Kriz mock offseason

Extend the guys who need extended

Resign: Tomlinson, DJ Jones, Street, Willis and Key

Free Agents:
CB Mike hughes 8-12 per
S, Quandree Diggs 11-13 per,
LB Nicholas Morrow 3-5 per
Tyrod Taylor 1-2 years at 5 per

TRADES: Jimmy G and 2023 comp 3rd to either Indy/Pitt/DEN/WASH for 41-52 in 2022 and a 2nd in 2023
Dre Greenlaw and our 6th to NYJ for pick 69 and Ashtyn Davis (this trade came down to extend Greenlaw or get Vet secondary help)

How I view the status of the team in this scenario headed into the draft.

DL- I basically kept our DL in tact plus the addition of Kinlaw. DL is not a draft need in this scenario.
LB- Al-Shaair stepped in big time for Greenlaw. Morrow adds the depth behind Warner/Shaair. depth LB could be used in the draft or even later in FA
DB-traded for safety Davis and signed Diggs. Add in Ward and drafting a S not a need. Signed Hughes at CB. Could still use upgrade at CB in draft

OL- resigned Tomlinson, RG and RT are needs in the draft
TE- I like Woerner but would love an upgrade at TE2 personally.
WR- After Aiyuk, Deebo and Jennings we have nothing. a difference maker and developmental depth needed in draft
RB: In this scenario we basically only have Sermon and Hasty behind Mitchell. Don't think we need to draft an RB early but we ned to bring in a couple guys tp push our depth

Draft
41-49 Justyn Ross, WR, Clemson There is a possibility that he isn't even available at this spot. If he is, we get a difference maker for Trey. Ross, Deebo and Aiyuk would be one of the best trios in the league.
61- Jalen Wydermyer, TE, TAMU Great run blocker while able to line up all over the field and has RAC ability. He screams Kittle 2.0. He and Kittle with the trio of WRS?
69- Coby Bryant, CB, Cincinnati He seems to me like he would be able to lineup either inside or outside. Well we need help at both.
93- Rasheed Walker, OT, Penn St. Hopefully he challenges for the starting RT spot sooner rather than later.
102-Dohnovan West, G/C Arizona st. Has experience at both G and C. Hopefully challenges for starting jog at RG sooner rather than later. At worse eventual Mack replacement at C
133- Troy Anderson, W, Montana st. This dude is a swiss army knife. Taysom Hill on steroids. He could be our game day 3rd QB, 3-4th RB, 5th LB wihile also being the upback in punt formation to make the defense worry about a trick play at any moment. This dude is a freak.
171-D'Jordan Strong, CB, Coastal Carolina, Slot corner
252- CJ Verdell, RB, Oregon competition for a backup spot
255- Steven Gilmore, CB, Marshall stephon's little brother another slot CB with no Williams we need slot CB's
262: Dontario Drummond, WR, Ole Miss He reminds me of a poor man's Deebo. With us needing some depth in this scenario, why the hell not.

No edge rushers and no field stretchers in this draft bu the weapons that Lance would have at his disposal, my lord

I don't know how we're gonna afford that. I'd like to trade for Davis. He's a Baller. And he's from out here. Specifically he's from Santa cruz
Troy Anderson is going to be gone in the fist 100 picks.
I know we have needs in our secondary, but adding 2 safeties and 4 cornerbacks in the offseason seems like overkill. Tarvarius Moore is recovered from his injury from last year so that would make 3 safeties.

LIke how you cover the other positional needs in the draft, just not the order. Niners don't need receivers and TE's first. Like the Walker, West, Anderson and Drummond picks. Solid mock.
Looks like you drafted two late cbs that probably would not make the team.
Why are we signing Diggs? Didn't he break his leg in week 18?

I think taking a TE early is needed. Kittle is in the press box way to often. Cant trust him to stay health.

I'm not sure about Hughes at that salary, nor Ross with a top 50 pick. Both have durability concerns.
