MBA Post Free Agency/Pre Draft Mock 2023

With the free agent frenzy slowing down, it's time for another 7 round mock draft. The only starting positions the Niners have to fill are at RT and K. Think they may still sign a front line edge/DE before the draft to compete with all the other additions they've made to this point. This draft is all about restocking the Niners depth on the roster and fill those two spots. It's still hard to determine whether the Niners will trade up and how far they can move with their lack of early round picks, so this is a no-trade mock. Mock is based on the NFL Mock Draft Database as of 3-22-23.

99. Jammie Robinson - high motor, productive, position versatile, play maker
S | Florida

101. Kyu Blu Kelly - boundary CB who can play man coverage with good ball skills
CB | Stanford

102. Blake Freeland - big mobile RT who excels in the run game, needs to work on technique in pass pro
OT | BYU

157. Jarrett Patterson - tough, rugged, versatile and experienced football player who can play all three IOL positions
IOL | Notre Dame

164. Zack Kuntz - advanced pass catcher with ball skills and big catch radius; needs work on blocking but should help overall
TE | Old Dominion

173. Ivan Pace Jr. - LB with instincts, toughness and burst who can cover and blitz.
LB | Cincinnati

216. Keondre Coburn - high effort player with unexpected athleticism and lateral ability
DL | Texas

222. Jonathan Mingo - physical WR with YAC ability and good play strength; good fit for Shanny's passing game
WR | Mississippi

247. Thomas Incoom - edge with the build and strength to play in the NFL; good motor and second effort player
EDGE | Central Michigan

253. Carrington Valentine - has coverage versatility and special teams/KR ability; good developmental pick late
CB | Kentucky

255. Jake Moody - experienced kicker with a big leg
K | Michigan
Nice mock. Lots of guys to challenge for roster spots

Pretty darn good
And with the latest trade involving 2025 draft picks and a kicker. Round 7 pick would be:

255. Aiden O' Connell QB Purdue
Do you think Patterson will end up playing center? I like him but I feel with Banks and Burford that our starting guards are set and Feliciano will compete and can backup all 3 IOL spots as well. If they feel Patterson will be the starting center of the future then I'm all for that pick.

Patterson or someone like him (Oluwatimi, Wypler, Tippmann or Matthews) are all about the future. Feliciano is the short term solution for all three IOL positions and Patterson will be the long term solution.
A+ bro
It would be awesome if it fell this way. I think it is asking a lot to have Jammie, Blake and Zack still on the board at those spots.

I agree, and I'm just crossing my fingers that these players make it to the Niners draft slots. My hope is the other teams looks at Robinson's size as a negative, even though his game is amazing. Just the opposite for Freeland and Kuntz. I hope teams think they are too tall to be successful at their respective positions and not as athletic as they have tested.

My best effort yet
