Kri Post free agency mock

5 spots We need to fill IMO

5 for sure
1 OT
1 TE
1 DE
1 S
1 LB/S combo

4 more Where competition could be used

OG-Preferably a OG/OT combo. Banks allowed 25 pressures and Burford wasn't exactly great either. At the very least competition is needed. We also need depth behind them.

RB- Mitchell is always hurt CMC also has nagging injuries. I'm not Sold on TDP. I do like Mason but would love at least a pass catching back to go with Mason in case Mitchell and CMC get hurt together.

LB- If Fred or Dre goes down I'm not as sold on Burks or McCrary stepping in like I was Shaair.

IDL- I have Kinlaw, Givens, Hargrave. Armstead and Davis at IDL. Which 5 is all we need on the 53 but how often is Kinlaw available? I know we have others on the roster currently but they too could use competition.

DRAFT
traded 216, 222 and 2024 6th to Indy for 176

99- Ji'Ayir Brown S, Penn St
101- Jonathan Mingo WR, Ole Miss
102- Warren McClendon RT, Georgia Started at RT last 2 seasons. Played opposite of Broderick Jones. most of the best pass rushers went to his side. Allowed 0 sacks the last 2 seasons. That in the SEC and includes 2 trips to the CFFP.
155- Dylan Horton EDGE, TCU
164- McClendon Curtis OG/OT, Chattanooga
173- Brenton Strange TE, Penn st. I think he can be the #2 TE behind Kittle and step up when he misses time.
176- Dee Winters LB, TCU He replaces Shaair.
247-Cameron Young NT, Mississippi St.
253- Jalen Graham S/LB, Purdue Graham can play both Safety and Linebacker.
255- Xazavian Valladay, RB, ASU

EDIT: if Stetson Bennett is available. I would go him at 101 and Keylon Stokes WR, Tulsa at 255

First 4 picks are solid. Mingo reminds me of Deebo but way less expensive. Hoping he can stay healthy if drafted. Good draft
Very nice mock. Like all the picks on the line of scrimmage. Lots of talent on both sides of the ball. Covers all the positions of need except one. I would keep one of those early 7th round picks and get a CB late to compete with the existing guys on the roster. Just don't trust Ambry Thomas as one of our primary backups at boundary corner.

I don't trust Ambry either. I actually debated between Mehki Blackmon and Dee Winters with that trade up pick.

Nice call on McClendon at RT

Definitely need the competition

I like Burks I think he will do fine

Love the draft but even is SB is on the board at 101 they should pass. They can take a developmental qb in another year or 2.

Good work overall
Looks good. If there is serious financial concern over extending Aiyuk into the future then grabbing a WR early is a good move.

If this is the case trade Deebo. I love him but aiyuk produces more now. And isn't injured as much. I don't think mingo and Deebo would produce as much as we think. Drops might become a problem. Aiyuk is our best "reciever"
