HBB 2nd Mock Draft No Trades

Trying this one out without making any trades. This assumes that Bosa is locked in long-term, Trent Williams does not early-retire, and Aiyuk plays on his 5th year option. I am doing the double-up at some spots like 49ers did with Trey Sermon/Elijah Mitchell draft.

99. Christopher Smith S - Preferable options Jordan Battle, Sydney Brown and Jammie Robinson are gone at 99, so chose best Safety available. A little undersized and will need to grow into the Free Safety position, but early on could be a primary nickel back.
101. Zack Kuntz TE- Sam LaPorta is gone before 99, so choose the TE with best pass catching upside. He is more of an upside projection due to his height and needs to add bulk, but he should be the better pass catching option over Woerner and Dwelley by mid-season.
102. KJ Henry EDGE- What I really want is a trade up 10-15 spots to get Andre Carter, but since this is a no-trade mock, KJ Henry appears to be the safer pick over Zach Harrison and Byron Young. Rotational depth piece with Austin Bryant and Clelin Farrell. Assuming Drake Jackson moves into the starting role.
155. Connor Galvin OT - Early on will compete for swing tackle role. Looks to fit the zone rush scheme and fairly athletic. Will need a couple of years to bulk up and gain experience before he is ready to start.
164. Cameron Brown CB - Zone coverage is more his skill and the new defense will be more zone than man. Likely also a special teamer.
173. D Thompson-Robinson QB - Athletic practice squad QB and injury insurance.
216. Davis Allen TE - Double up at TE for additional Woernor/Dwelley competition.
222. Daniel Scott S - Safety with a lot of DB experience and likely special teamer.
247. Dante Stills DT - Rotational piece as interior pash rusher if he can develop moves and get stronger.
253. Matt Landers WR - Depth at WR and special teams.
255. Arquon Bush CB- Depth at CB and special teams.

Yes and maybe. There is nothing wrong with a 7th round pick ending up on the practice squad a la Juaun Jennings.
