What are your thoughts on this latest mock from NFL DraftWire. This mock has the Texans giving up picks Nos. 33, 65 and 73 in the 2023 draft for Lance. That would be an amazing haul that the Niners would have a hard time turning down. I for one would take this deal in a heartbeat if I knew Purdy was 100% certain of being back this season. Having 2 second round picks and another 3rd would allow the Niners tremendous flexibility to rebuild their depth for the next 4-5 years.

If we passed on Nolan Smith for DJ Turner I'd be pretty furious ngl. As far as the Trey trade it is what it is. If the coaching staff and FO sign off on it then it's clear they have give up on him and may as well get what we can.

I'd rather have Dawand Jones.

Lol not only would I tell the Texans to piss off with that trade offer in this junk draft…the players they picked for SF with those picks are Turner is allergic to tackling and imo is similar to a CB we already have in Thomas. The DE from USC might not get drafted until the 5th rd. The more I watch the more I see meh. And Tank is also overdrafted one trick WR. Trash
They're not moving Lance but if it did happen I want a 1st in next yrs draft plus something. If Brock isn't all that then use picks to go get another QB next yr.

Im not making that trade either unless the team is 100% sure Trey isn't the move. Could get a starting RT, EDGE and Jake Haener with the extra capital. My personal faith in Trey is too high for that.
DJ Turner is a stud tho. I'm pretty sure I posted in the general prospect thread months ago that Tuli (USC) was a top 50 pick if not a 1st round lock. But that was when we assumed he was moving around like that at 290 lbs. Then he weighed in at 260, and went from a phenomenal looking athlete moving around at 290 to testing like a severely limited athlete at 260. Really not sure what to make of him. We agree on Tank being over rated.

Not a fan of the mock, but you don't think 33/65/73 is good compensation?

The picks make sense. Only bad thing is 14 picks in a mediocre draft is too many. First pick Anton Harrison RT bundle picks and move up for Kelee Ringo CB. JL Skinner makes sense at safety. Big hard hitting safety. Would be 100% by week 3. Isaiah Foskey DE would make sense at 73. Maybe a TE or Jonathan Mingo WR to get ready to trade or lose one of the WR next year.

Mock is dog s**t imo. I'd have a tough time not moving Trey for that if they're that sold on Brock. It's an awful risk but that's decent compensation(could easily blow up in our face but if they're not sold on Trey that's a solid offer to say no to)
if we're doing that I'm going with
33. Nolan Smith
65. AA
73. Tucker Kraft
99. Jayden Reed
101. Darius Rush
102. Blake Freeland.
Turn our pass rush into another level monster. Bring in more weapons on offense and get a guy who can compete and maybe start at RT.

Lol I'm so afraid of Michigan CBS, just saying.
