Nice mock. It's the hardest year in many to mock. You gotta predict 3 there around 100. 3 more 150-173 and 4 more late. Such a crap shoot. We all want players ranked top 100 there at 100 that likely won't be. I'm confident they'll have some players they like in each of the 3 phases we draft. But the more I think about it I'm betting JL trades up into the 70's or 80's and grabs their guy.

No real guy I'm pounding the table for this yr. Overall this is a pretty underwhelming draft class. Good depth full of rotational guys and some future starters.

I used Dane Brugler's The Beast draft guide. I don't think we will be making all 11 picks, but I don't want to go though trade scenarios. I also tried to keep it to players we're connected to as well.

99-Brenton Strange TE PSU-strong hands and good YAC. He's pretty multiple and well-rounded. He's not gonna wow you anywhere and needs redefining. Good chance he's a better pro than college player. (My alternate is Tucker Kraft if there)

101-Isaiah McGuire DE MIZZOU-heavy hands and long. He's got the size we love. He's not super explosive and needs to work on his pad level. He's got some traits coach K can work with. (Alternate is YaYa or Young if there).

102-Nick Saldiveri OT Old Dominion-I've probably focused more on lineman than any other group this yr. I defer to Throne and he's love him some Saldiveri. Good size/length. Love that he came to the Senior Bowl and held his own (didn't win every rep). Love that he was willing to play center. He's a team captain. Wouldn't be shocked if he's got a gold helmet (My alternative is Wanya Morris/Tyler Steen)

155-Marte Mapu LB/S Sac state-I'm gonna say I haven't watched a ton outside of the senior bow, but I get some Jeremy Chinn vibes from him. Wilks approves and we play some big nickel.

170-Ji'Ayir Brown S Penn State- I've come to the conclusion that we won't be taking a safety early ever (which is fine). J Martin would be my pick at S, but we haven't spoke to him at all and I think he goes in the 2nd rd….J Brown just gets his hands on footballs. He's a hard hitter and alpha. He's not gonna be a single high guy, but overall there aren't many of those types of safeties in this draft. IMO this is good value. (Brugler has him rated higher, but no other place does). Another possible golf helmet prospect.

173-Braeden Daniels OT/OG Utah-We've done about everything you can in regards to meeting him. He's stupid athletic and moves very well. Very twitchy for 300lbs. I think he could be a better version of brunskill. Needs more coaching and to get stronger. Out of all my picks I think this guy has the best chance of being a 49er.

216-Eric Gray-RB OU-might be gone here, but I see him all over the place. Not a burner, but great balance and his jump cuts are filthy. He's got quicks and can dart through holes. Plus pass catcher, which is something we need (my alternate is Keaton Mitchell)

222-Demario Douglas WR liberty- small frame burner whose speed shows up. He can return kicks if Ray-Ray gets hurt or we want to move on.

232-Dorian Thompson-Robinson QB UCLA-duel threat QB with a live arm. 5th yr senior so he's seen some football. Slight frame and his vision overall is not good. Not much anticipation. Footwork is bad. I see him as a later day 3 guy. But I like him the most out of all those day 3 guys. Likely PS candidate. I've seen P J Walker as a comp. Fine for late 3.

247-Darell Luter Jr CB South Alabama-hard to find much to watch, but we met with him a couple times. Longer CB with speed and pretty fluid. Likes to tackle. Played a lot of man. Not sure he makes it here but would be good value imo.

257-Christopher Dunn K NC state-who cares, it's a kicker.

Welp there it is

Two right so far, actually pretty damn good.

Nice work!

All that really matters is that Brown has that Golf Helmet though.

Haha I'll take it! It's funny I have my first mock written down on a piece of paper somewhere and I had Latu and Willis as well. For sure not in the 3rd for Latu.

it's annoying because I had a feeling they're weren't gonna draft OL as high (or as many times) as everyone thought. I didn't have the balls to make the mock like that though. I kinda wanted it to be what I think they should do more than what I thought they would do.
