AdrianLesnar Final 2-Year Ideal Mock

I'm too lazy to do an in-depth post this year, but I wanted to get down my ideal two-year mock projection. For a more "realistic" option, just ignore the bigger trades and the offensive skill positions drafted.

3 | Wanya Morris, OT
Wanya should be expected to step in from year 1 with an opportunity to battle with McKivitz for the starting job. Moving forward, Wanya has the tools to project favorably as the right tackle of the future.

3 | Jartavius Martin, S/NB
With shades of Dax Hill and, more relevantly, the recently departed 49er staple Jimmie Ward, Jartavius should be able to compete with Samuel Womack and Isaiah Oliver for the starting nickel corner role while developing to take over for Tashaun Gipson as a rangey deep safety. As a best case scenario, Jartavius has the explosiveness and overall athletic ability to be used similarly to Minkah Fitzpatrick, and it would be game changing to have him and Hufanga flying around all over the field.

Trade: 2023 3rd + 2024 3rd (COMP) to CLE for 2023 4 + 2023 4. CLE drafts WR Tyler Scott.

4 | Isaiah McGuire, DL
Prototype Kris Kocurek defensive end prospect. Big, long, explosive and heavy handed - will be used similarly to Arden Key and Charles Omenihu; outside, reduced inside, and on twists and stunts as part of a heavy rotation of pass rushers.

4 | Devon Achane, RB
Step 1: Complain about this pick.
Step 2: Watch Raheem Mostert highlights from 2019
Step 3: Imagine adding pass catching ability to that skill set
Step 4: Ask yourself if you'd like the 49ers offense to add that element back into their game again.

Trade: Elijah Mitchell to HOU for 2023 6

5 | Jayden Reed, WR
Having a top 3 defense will get us through the NFC and to the Superbowl. Once there, however, we are going to need to be able to put up points to defeat the likes of Mahomes, Burrow or Allen. Reed is, imo, severely underated and projects favorablely as a day 1 starting slot wide receiver with league-wide name recognition by year 3.

5 | Brenton Strange, TE
Brings more toughness and athletic ability to the TE position.

5 | Kahlef Hailassie, CB
Well rounded CB prospect to bolster depth. Good size, good length, good athleticism.

6 | Brodric Martin, IDL
Space-eater body with the nimble feet of someone much smaller.

6 | Desjuan Johnson, DL
Another versatile outside-in defensive linemen with the strength to shock offensive linemen. Ideal Kocurek project.

Trade: 2023 7 + 2023 7 for 2023 6

6 | Ivan Pace Jr, LB/ST
3rd linebacker, but day one special team's ace.

7 | Graham Barton, OL
Tough, mobile SOB, likely at guard.

7 | Noah Gindorff, TE
Big tightend reminiscent of a tiny offensive tackle. Big body for catching passes in the redzone, but more likely to contribute as a blocker.

Priority UDFA: Justin Ford, DB
Athletic guy who will transition to safety in the pros.

UDFA: Derrick Parrish, FB/ST
Tough and athletic guy who may make the roster based off of special teams ability alone.

UDFA: Griffin Herbert, FB
Highest RAS recorded for a fullback. Tested similarly to Kyle Juszczyk, albeit 10 lbs lighter, and is transitioning to FB from WR and TE. Practice squad guy with a chance to take over for Juice in the future.

Post Draft FA: Hakeem Butler, WR
Has looked good in the XFL, and deserves another chance in the NFL, especially given the fact that he failed with a terrible org in the Cardinals. Still has the game breaking size and athleticism, but looks to have improved hands and YAC. Worth a call up.

2024

1 | Olu Fashanu, OT
Heir apparent to Trent Williams once he retires.

2 | Liatu Latu, DE
Pass rusher that can win 1v1 and without scheming open.

3 | Damon Payne Jr, DT
Goes to Bama and has a name one letter off from Da'ron Payne Jr. Good enough for me.

3 | Christian Mahogany, OG
Starting caliber guard if Banks is allowed to walk as a free agent.

4 | Derrick Canteen, CB
Ball hawking corner.

5 | Harrison Mevis, K
A kicker prospect that is actually special (looking at you, Moody). Huge leg.

6 | Jalen Catalon, S
Do injuries cause his stock to topple? Doubt it, but they do in this mock.

7 | Frank Gore Jr, RB
We owe it to Franky, and to this fan base. It's only right.

QB (3): Trey Lance, Brock Purdy, Sam Darnold
RB (4): Christian McCaffrey, Devon Achane, Jordan Mason, TDP
FB (1): Kyle Juszczyk
OL (10): Trent Williams, Aaron Banks, Jake Brendel, Spencer Burford, Wanya Morris, Olu Fashanu, Nick Zakelj, Jason Poe, Colton McKivitz, Christian Mahogany (PS: Graham Barton)
WR (5): Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, Danny Gray, Jayden Reed, Hakeem Butler
TE (3): George Kittle, Brenton Strange, Noah Gindorff

DL (11): Nick Bosa, Arik Armstead, Javon Hargrave, Drake Jackson, Liatu Latu, Damon Payne Jr, Kalia Davis, Isaiah McGuire, Kevin Givens, Brodric Martin, Desjuan Johnson
LB (5): Fred Warner, Dre Greenlaw, Ivan Pace Jr, Oren Burks, Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles
CB (5): Charvarious Ward, Deommodore Lenoir, Isaiah Oliver, Kahlef Hailassie, Derrick Canteen
S (4): Talanoa Hufanga, Jartavius Martin, Myles Hartsfield, Justin Ford

LS: Taybor Pepper
P: Mitch Wishnowsky
PK: Harrison Mevis
Your draft is so similar to the one I'm working on... I'm not even sure I should finish it. LOL Good job!

A couple players like Reed and Strange should go much earlier IMO.
good job and i have no issue with picking a RB in the 4th round
I will say, I get the lust for Achane…I just can't stomach drafting another RB that early. Mostert is like 15-20lbs bigger as well. Dude is small (but electric, Jahvid best is the comp I've seen out there).

I also think Reed and strange will go much higher but I'm a fan. If it all goes down like this A+
Not many of those picks will be able to make the roster. No need to trade for more pics to not make the team. I like The Abakanda (sp) guy from Pitt over the tiny version of Mostert, who couldn't stay healthy. I also think we need a speed rusher, I would take McGuire and Byron Young if possible. We need depth at edge. Good overall though.

My comp is Austin Ekeler. Obviously Ekeler is bigger and stronger whereas Achane is faster, but their skill sets and usage are similar. I'm not too worried about Achane's size. His vision is so good, his movement so shifty and his cuts so explosive that he is rarely ever hit hard in the open field - defenders simply can't stay in front of him long enough to hit him square. His contact balance to break through the resultant arm tackles or at the least always fall forward is wildly impressive before even considering that he's doing it at such a diminutive stature. For the Abunikanda fans, Achane is significantly more explosive when it comes to game speed, to my eye anyway.

I actually think every player picked has a good chance to make the roster hahah, but yea, it is a competitive roster for sure. I agree that I would love a speed rusher, but I don't think our team prioritizes edge rushers who can only win around the outside track. For that reason, I drafted two players who will be labeled as defensive ends on the game day roster, but who can be moved all around the DLine
Day 2:
