A 205 lb TE in the 6th is a choice for sure.
Shay Shay was 215... we don't need Bobo to be blocking, we can get other TEs for that..

Who the hell is Shay Shay, lol.

Only person I can think of that you might be referring to is Shannon Sharpe which would also be a choice - to compare a 6'5" 205 lb prospect to an outlier hall of famer who was 6'1" 220. Completely different body type, size, and athletic ability, and again, a hall of famer who was drafted 30 years ago...not the most promising comparison. So you want a 205 Lb TE to play WR...instead of say...a wide receiver?

ur pretty smart.. it is Shannon.. and if Bobo can gain 15 more lbs.. w/the hands he's got, how much does it hurt to use a 5th or even a 6th round on the guy?

Mitchell turned out to be ok... Purdy played well.. it's not like Bobo will start right away... he can be a project. he'll be a very good TE in my opinion.. Eric Johnson was a pretty good TE..

Just a bit odd of a projection in my opinion is all I'm saying. I appreciate you bringing up names that aren't being commonly recycled on here. I have no problems bringing in Bobo to camp as an undrafted free agent to try and make the WR corps
Dude, you don't take a 205lb WR and try to convert him to a TE. You take a 235lb WR like Elijah Higgins from Stanford, add 15 pounds to his frame and make him a TE. There is no way Tyler Steen lasts till pick #173 either. Not enough good OT's in front of him to fall that far.

Id guess Steen is at worst the 3rd tackle drafted early Friday, but no chance he makes it out of day 2
