MBA mid season 7 round mock draft no trades

After a disappointing end to the first half on the field and a boost from the front office at the trade deadline, the Niners needs getting clearer going into the second half of the season. The main areas of need are:

- better coverage in the secondary
- offensive line needs to be upgraded at RT and on the interior
- need to fill in at some current areas of strength because you can't pay superstars at every position

Round 1 Nate Wiggins CB Clemson - no matter how good the pass rush is, Niners need to add a first round CB at some point; best available at this spot
Round 2 Tyler Guyton OT Oklahoma - experienced player with massive frame plus athleticism; potentially could move to LT in the future
Round 3 Zak Zinter OG Michigan - 4 year starter who is a road grader on the IOL; can play multiple positions
Round 3 McKinnley Jackson DT Texas A&M - bowling ball build DT who is good against the run
Round 4 Jonah Ellis EDGE Utah - the leading sacker of all Power 5 players; NFL bloodlines with an arsenal of different pass rush moves
Round 5 Ainias Smith WR Texas A&M - Niners coaches dream; willing blocker, experience at both WR and RB, and special teams upside as a KR
Round 5 Jaden Hicks S Washington St - physical safety who plays well against the run and can cover bigger receivers
Round 6 Oronde Gadsden II TE Syracuse - prolific receiving threat with size and length; converted WR with amazing hands
Round 6 Beaux Limmer C/OG Arkansas - C/OG combo and weight room warrior
Round 7 Payton Wilson LB NC State - long, athletic off ball LB who plays well near the LOS; good blitzer

Do we still have 2 3rd round picks after trading for Chase Young?

Yes, we do. The Niners traded the last of their 3rd round comp picks which would have been pick 100+.

Literally looks like one of my simulator mocks, would love it.
Zinter will drop after he messed up his leg but he would be a bargain.

Good call on Zinter. Can play at least 4 positions on the o line and should definitely drop after the injury..

It's early, but I don't think Wiggins falls that low for us to draft.

You're probably right. If the great CB's and top OT's go early, I think the Niners could trade down a few spots and get the best available OT (Suamataia or Guyton), best S/Slot CB (J Bullard) or the best CB (Q. Mitchell) in the late thirtys.
