Nice work. Don't want to lose ayiuk, but option 2 is pretty enticing

Would you Trade both 1st rd picks to Tennessee if joe alt is there. Huge upgrade at RT and eventual replacement for Trent Williams. Take a wr in 2nd and take Isaac guerendo in 4th to give CMC some time off. Jaheim bell would be a good replacement for juice.

I probably would not do the proposed trade, tho I'd understand it. I personally prefer the idea of two long-term OL prospects - keeping Aiyuk gives us, imo, the best chance at winning a Superbowl in 2024, but if we're going to let him go for cap saving purposes, then I like being able to completely reset the cap hits of the entire OL.

I dont think the value is right at 63 for WR. The tier 2 guys are probably mostly gone -- Pearsall, Legette, Wilson, etc -- and it's a bit early for the next tier of players who stand no chance of sniffing Aiyuk replacement levels of production. If we're moving off of Aiyuk, we do so knowing the offensive output of the passing game will take a hit. Don't over react and reach on an inadequate replacement for Aiyuk. Instead, maximize the roster in other more impactful areas. Baker and Coker have as much upside as any of those tier 3 guys. Of course, time will tell. Maybe someone good ends up being there for us.

I like Guerrendo, but I see way too many holes, current or within the next year or two, to justify a RB in the top 4 rounds. Mason and Mitchell have already proven they are good enough to give CMC time off. It's just a matter of if Shanny wants to. With no Aiyuk, I'd expect the team to lean even heavier on CMC, for better or worse.

Jaheim Bell seems to be a zone favorite, for good reason; he's a nice player. That said, I feel everyone is seeing "hmmm, undersized TE" and automatically thinking "convert him to FB! Juice replacement!" Bell is not a FB. I comp him to Jordan Reed. Everyone is looking for a TE, not quite good enough to stick there, that can play FB. Juice is a FB, good enough to play TE.

Only wr I would take at 63 is ja'lynn Polk from Washington. Thanks for the feedback
Cooper is one of my favorite prospects. I think folks are sleeping on him

LBs aren't the sexy pick, but we have been so dependent on elite LB play and he helps us to try and keep the trend alive.

I really don't want to trade Brandon but option two in my opinion is the only one that gets us over the hump that makes our offensive line elite. And I don't think any defensive lineman in this draft is going to be more than a rotational piece because of how solid we are at defensive line and that's across-the-board I don't think anyone's gonna be Pushing Leonard Floyd to the bench

I agree, Leonard Floyd is the guy this year. I'd look to draft a guy that can break the rotation this year, and then be relied upon to be "the guy" within their rookie contract. I think EDGE thins out very quickly this year, and even more so if you want a guy who you can leave in on run dowDowns.

Personally, I believe our team is already good enough to get over the hump as currently constructed. Option 1 is to create more depth at key positions, position our selves well to insulate future losses, and potentially upgrade day 1 at specific positions. Option 2 is take a small step back this year in anticipation of rebuilding around an expensive QB contract.

Lynch: *smirks* Hey Trent, its John. I know you said you'd do 17 and a 3rd for Aiyuk if Brian Thomas Jr wasn't there for ya, and I saw Bills just traded up to take him. Listen *winks at Shanahan, nods and smiles at Jed*, I can't do Aiyuk, but I'll cut you a deal. I can do Deebo for ya, and I'll even let you keep your 3rd.

R1P17 Troy Fautanu, RT
