We went 6-11, who exactly do you think is irreplaceable on our roster? Or above a competition for their job?

To be real, this roster has holes. It's not like we were a play or a player away from the playoffs in 2024.

There's a lot to build around, but a lot of guys could be pushed off the roster outside of the general deficiencies.

We need 2 starting DTs, a starting Edge, and depth. We have Bosa and EA.
We need depth behind Warner and Greenlaw, if Greenlaw leaves we need a starter, and still need depth.
We need a FS because the guys we have are all SS, even if Mustapha can be a FS better than anyone else we still need a FS (Mukuba, or equivalent).
We also need depth at DB, and a starter since Ward is out.
We need a starting C, Gs, and Ts and depth.
We need a backup TE or two.
We need a WR1 outside of the fact that we will be down a WR in Deebo, and BA for most of the season (we don't know what we have in him post-injury).
We need depth at RB.
We need a backup QB.

This roster has a lot of holes, so I am not sure what you're laughing at if not your own myopia.

Right, it's ridiculous, One, it's just from one of the mock draft sites so it's not going to be realistic in any event, and two, the cupboards are not completely empty, but they are quite bare. We have a lot of restocking to do, and in all fairness, it probably won't be done in one off-season. But a lot of these guys are good players.

Yeah, we kind of do, for reasons I've laid out in another post. We are missing a lot of pieces.

I don't think we'll be able to resolve our needs all in one offseason, though, I'm happy to be proven wrong on that point.

If we don't come out of this draft with a mostly rebuilt defensive line and some O linemen, at least, then that will be a huge disappointment.

It's happened in a bunch of mocks I've run. I love that idea in reality because it's an ideal scenario for us as we re-tool the roster. We'll see.
